Vicki Gunvalson: Last Year Was the Worst Year of My Life

Vicki

Vicki Gunvalson is taking to her blog to reveal that last year was the worst year of her life. She says she believes everything happens for a reason though, and that she’s learned a lot about herself.

“Welcome back to Season 11. I hope you all enjoyed your time away from the OC Housewives. As you saw from the previews, we have a pretty incredible season ahead of us and I hope you enjoy it.

It was great to introduce our new cast member Kelly Dodd. She brings a whole new energy to this show which I think was really needed.

A lot has happened in my life since you last saw me on the couch last season with Andy and hopefully you will be happy with how far I have come in my personal life. I have to say last year was probably the worst year of my life, and I’m glad it’s over and behind me.

I learned a lot about myself and have finally realized that everything happens for a reason and much of it is a divine intervention. I’m finally at peace with it all, and this season you will see me trying to move on, after asking for forgiveness. Some are willing to do accept it and move on, and some aren’t which I’m actually okay with now. I’m not going to be stuck in the past anymore.

It was tough to first see the ladies this 1st episode and to hear about how they felt about me. There is so much that you the viewers and the cast members don’t know which was my personal struggle to make sense of everything.”

For those of you who didn’t see Brooks’ last statement with People back in March, this should clear any confusion anyone may have about my involvement. See the article here.

More importantly, towards the bottom of the statement, see what he disclosed which clearly states I was NOT in on any scam. It’s quite disturbing that anyone would ever think that of me:

Ayers closes the statement by defending Gunvalson.

“Vicki was not ‘in on any cancer scam or created storyline.’ There is no scam,” Ayers says, adding , “Second, Vicki never has paid me to be quiet regarding this ‘supposed’ scam nor has paid me to release any statements.”

  1. STOP….I can’t take the victim, poor me ANYMORE from her. She defends all of her misguided actions on being upset about something EVERY YEAR!!! Go back and watch each season. Every stinkin year is her “worst year”. I don’t undermine the death of her mother for a minute, but each year it was either about Don, Brianna, Brooks…always letting people know how badly she is hurting and crying herself to sleep every night. I can’t take reading about it anymore..phew…lol. Just wanted to get that out, now I’m good 😀

    1. Just goes to show…it’s all about the ratings and most hated – if Bravo had any class her ass would be gone!

      1. I agree kt. It’s worse than that because not only has Bravo given her further platform, showing that they have no moral compass, but this woman doesn’t show an ounce of contrite behavior. It’s quite the opposite by bragging about ratings based on a cancer scam.

        1. Yes ma’am. I never ever cared for her – I couldn’t take all the screaming and her childish behavior. I would be afraid if I was her client.

  2. STOP ALREADY YOU POS! You made him that binder which you screeched to everybody about so of course you were in on his lies. You admitted it with the whole “calling Terry Dubrow for an IV” schtick. And if she thinks last year was bad, she better hang on tight when karma comes calling.

    1. Gigicat, she’s actually going for MORE sympathy this year if that’s even possible. Now she’s trying to make everyone feel sorry for her that she’s alone without Brooks. She honestly doesn’t seem to know any other role.

  3. Good. It should have been. Now either learn from it, make some changes, and do better next time…or repeat it over and over and over… lying in the street and sobbing over the next loser. I wonder if Crooks drove away in your car. Oh… and I don’t like your new kitchen….the gray walls and counters with the gold hardware and fixtures and trim…nope.

    1. Apple: I agree with you 100%. I don’t think Vicki will learn anything from last season. She hasn’t learned anything for the 10 seasons so far, so why should she learn anything now? I also think her new kitchen is ugly. Why is everything white now a days without much color? I love having a lot of color around me.

    2. apple, I agree. Some people go through life making the same mistakes time & again, never learning. Possibly they don’t want to learn. I also agree with you on her kitchen, too stark for my taste. I pray Vicki finds peace & some semblance of happiness.

  4. Brooks is an idiot. If he truly was diagnosed with cancer he would not EVER worry about responding to anyone. THose who must deal with the pain and seriousness of a cancer diagnosis would never get involved in a he said she said fight about it. People questioning a diagnosis that is their issue not the patient. Brooks brought this entire thing on by himself and Vickie ran with it. It supposedly was the Best storyline. If Brooks was an honest upstanding man he would have said to Vickie and Bravo “No way and I bringing my illness to the show” Brooks LOVED the attention and he just is not smart enough to realized the damage he did to himself. He is a fame whore and this will not be the last we will hear from him I bet.

  5. Vicki has to be the most self involved, narcissistic, ego-centric person ever featured on television. Every day is the “worst day of her life”, every week is “the worst week of her life”, and every year is “the worst year of her life.” Brianna has to have thyroid surgery, but it’s Vicki who insists she’s suffering more during the drive to the hospital. Victim, victim, victim. She’s a needy, exhausting, manipulative dolt.

    1. I could not agree more and it’s exhausting to even read about, let alone watch. When she goes from her screeching, bitchy rants, to her “attempted” baby girl voice in her talking heads while feeling sorry for herself…it’s beyond appalling anymore.

  6. Again…. just leave her daughter and thug of a son-in-law off the show… Bravo please don’t highlight men who are verbally abusive to women… and who knows what else. Brianna made a far worse choice in men than her Mother ever has…. maybe that’s her problem…

  7. I’m disappointed the execs at Bravo decided to renew VG’s contract. I find everything about her disturbing. She needs a good therapist to unravel the reasons behind her continued need to play the victim. SMH

    1. That’s the one name for her Liarface. I for one am sick of her lies won’t watch but will comment. Xoxoxoxoxox

      1. Suze so happy to see you here. I hope your feeling a bit better. Lots of prayers and hugs your way sweet lady take care friend. Love you always, Deb

        1. Hi Deb! I miss you all. I can’t be bothered to read all threads jus a few! Hopefully back to normal within two weeksxxxxx (whatever normal is these days)

  8. Suze you know everyone loves and misses you here . Please comment when you can on what ever thread you want . We will find you . I hope your home within the next couple of weeks .

  9. Vicki still won’t admit that she did this to herself. She had plenty of opportunities to come clean last year and she just kept up the scam because she “loved” Brooks. Hard to fell sorry for someone who did what she did.
