The Real Housewives Of San Diego?!

Is Bravo bringing The Real Housewives to San Diego? According to a report by UTSanDiego it looks like San Diego is the next city to be added to the Franchise! Asylum Entertainment casting agents are currently looking for new women who reside in the San Diego area. Alex Shaw, Director of Casting at Asylum, reached out to a variety of influential San Diegans through Twitter on Thursday. Her tweet said: “Bravo CASTING Housewives of affluent SD areas (Rancho, La Jolla etc). Gorgeous, living the life!”

The Asylum post for the ‘Untitled Housewives Show’ says:

“Asylum Entertainment is casting its next show in the San Diego area. We are seeking upscale, affluent women living fabulous and glamorous lives.

“We along with a Major Cable Network are looking for outgoing, exciting, strong, focused women who reside in and around the San Diego area that want to share their lives. We are looking for women who are lively and energetic, with defined opinions and views. Our featured women should have busy lives, be involved with the community, have a strong work ethic, and an active social calendar. Most importantly, they should be enjoying the good life.”

Shaw couldn’t confirm Bravo’s participation or commitment to a San Diego show at this time. Asylum is looking around San Diego for potential Housewives.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

I’m a big “Real Housewives” so of course! Yet, I wonder why no housewives of any state in Texas? Dallas,Austin,SanAntonio…..etc.

I’ll take this with a graind of salt. Back in 2012 Reality Tea claimed their was gonna be a Real House Wives Of San Francisco then even had pictures/bios of Women who were being considered for the show, yet nothing came of that rumour. When I hear it from Bravo/Andy Cohen is when i’ll believe it. It would be nice to add 2-3 new cities to the franchise though.

Hell yes! That is my hometown! Much more down to earth than the neighboring OC!

  • jennifer

    I probably would.

As much as I would love to see it, I wouldn’t get too excited.
There were rumors of a San Francisco Housewives, a Dallas adaption, and others but none of them ended up to be true (Real Housewives of Dallas even had a cast released and it’s own Wikipedia page but it never came through).

I’d love to see the Housewives of San Diego. My daughter lives in Scripps Ranch and watches with all of her friends. San Diego has beautiful women and is perfect for the franchise. I hope you really do choose San Diego
