Yesterday was a big media day for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. After serving an 11 and a half month prison sentence she did various interviews and her book Turning the Tables: From a Housewife to Inmate and Back Again came out. While the “Trehuggers” (what she calls her fans) are finally getting her side of the story on her life in prison, there was a shocking statement she made in an interview with Catt Sadler on E! News.Â
“I felt like I was dying, I really did,” Giudice told Sadler. “It’s like that movie Stepmom, I felt like I was dying and that I only had three months left to share every precious moment with my daughters before I left.”
The reality star did reveal that her oldest daughter Gia knew she was going to prison and told Milania and Gabriella that she was writing a book on prison and had to live there. Though her daughters were somewhat aware of what was going on, the one she worried about the most was her youngest Audriana.
“I felt like, especially with my baby Audriana, I was like, ‘Oh my God, is she going to forget me?’ I mean, she was only five years old at the time. I don’t want her to forget about me.”
Teresa then stopped herself from crying and continued, “I’m going to cry. I’ve never been away from my children, they’re my life. I live for them.”
