Teresa Giudice Reaches Out to Jacqueline Laurita

Teresa

During tonight’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice tried to move forward in their relationship during a private chat during Christmas Eve.

Teresa brought up how she felt betrayed by Melissa in the past for not having her back when Caroline, Jacqueline and Kathy “ganged up” on her. She also brought up the 2010 Christening debacle and said that’s when she felt like things went wrong.

Teresa asked Melissa to defend her if anyone tries to take her down. In the end, Melissa agreed to move forward and act like true sisters. They agreed to come to each other if any of the women try to get in the way of their relationship.

During her New Year’s Eve party, with the help of Dolores Catania, Teresa thought it would be a nice gesture to call Jacqueline and wish her a “Happy New Year.”

The conversation was going fine until Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri (who where at Jacqueline’s New Year’s party) yelled “Happy New Year,” to Teresa over the phone. “Do you usually put your phone calls on speaker?” Teresa asked Jacqueline, without even acknowledging her cousins.

Teresa asked to be taken off speakerphone, and after that the phone call was very awkward. In her interview, Teresa said she had no regrets about not inviting her cousins to her party adding, “My family was here. I know who my family is.”

Jacqueline told Dolores that the phone call was “f*cking weird,” but that it was progress.

Omg omg great episode BUT best lines of the night were deliver by 2 of the husbands. I can’t stop laughing. Richie W. “I see Santinos (the dog) eating well” bwaahhhhaa. That dog is fat.
Then Joe Giudice to Rosie “Bourbon is better bro…. I mean Rosie”
Then to fresh mouth Gia “Shut up ya little fat head!”.
    Classic!
Want to ask Dolores, who I like but find confusing. Hey Dolores since when real Italians go to therapy??? From one real Italian to another NEVER! The Jews do therapy the Italians tell their mom or Nonna or someone in their family. Just sayin!

      Santino isn’t fat!

I miss Joe G. and Rosie. They’re funny and really cute together! Richie and Rosie were funny together, too!

i wish Kathy had a bigger role on the show. She seems like such a kind, genuine and sincere person.

So far, I’m loving the new girls but tonight it should have been at least a little on Siggy & a nix the scene with Ashley & Jaqueline.

Jacqueline and Ashley are so d*** boring, they put me to sleep. The show would be SO much better without them!

As far as the phone call, I don’t know what Jacqueline found so “f*cking weird” about it. It was New Year’s Eve (the traditional time for new beginnings), and Theresa had found a convenient excuse to call, to tell Jacqueline that Delores was on the way over to Jacqueline’s house. She used it as her “in” to extend the proverbial olive branch to Jacqueline. No big mystery there.

I did find it rude that Jacqueline put the call on speakerphone. Does she really not know that it’s poor manners to have others listen in without notifying the person on the other end?

However, I do think Theresa is a bit “off.” She never seems to admit or understand anything that she does wrong but always insists that she is the innocent victim. But then I guess that kind of delusional entitlement is what landed her in prison.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasnt Theresa on speaker too? I love Jac but I just think from the very begining she isnt ready to be friends again her tone alone when reading the letter to her husband that Theresa wrote her, shes not ready for that friendship.

  • PeachPie

Oh, I don’t know, Sarah. If they were both on speakerphone then I guess that would be fair enough. I like Jacqueline, too.

Teresa seems to me the kind of person you’d just not expect too much from and not take too seriously. Jacqueline seems more reasonable.

Yes both of them were on speaker phone but Teresa told Jac that she was with Dolores and Jac did not tell Teresa that her cousins could hear the conversation,

That was funny when Kathy pushed Richie!

  • Leslie

Jacqueline is being so self centered thinking only of herself and Her hurt feelings instead of what Teresa is going through which J nor anyone can possibly understand. Re: phone call. J purposely picked up and put it on speaker for all to hear. I think that’s what T was upset about. That would have surprised me as well. T was speaking semi-privately ( with an encouraging friend) not in front of group of people. It’s tough getting friendships back on track, especially when one person (J) seems to not at all seeming to be considering any of what is going on in T’s life. Walk a mile…you’ll see how tough it is. Some friendships are just not meant to be.

  • I just wish the tired, old story lines with Jac and Melissa were done…….And hears how you do it, get rid of them! Does anyone really care about Jac and Ashley or Melissa? Probably, not many.

    • Suze☕️

I certainly don’t care about either of these two! Xoxoxoxox

No! RHONJ would be golden without Jacqueline, Ashley and Melissa!

  • Daisy

I don’t care about Jac but I don’t mind seeing Chris

    • Suze☕️

I feel sorry for him, I like him! Love the boys!

Can’t stand Jacqueline and tired of Chris whining about $ and trying to claim he has none because of Nicholas’ autism treatments.

  • Lizzie

I find that every season Jac is borderline mean girl. I think she is so judgmental and can never move forward. Holds a lot of grudges. Rather immature too. I feel bad for her struggles with her precious Nick. She really needs to look at her behavior…and own it. She creates conflict.

      Well said.

I really dislike the way Nicholas is told to say “I love you” in order to get the food or treats he wants (donut, lollipop). It reminds me of people trying to train their dogs. If the kid asks for a donut, just give him the freakin’ donut!
