Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was originally supposed to be sentenced on July 8th, but the sentencing date for her and Joe Giudice has been delayed until September 23rd. In a new interview, Teresa is opening up about the harsh reality of facing time in prison, and admits she’s terrified.
“No one can ever prepare themselves to go to prison,” she tells In Touch. “More importantly, how could I ever prepare myself to be away from my kids? It’s too terrifying for me to even think about.”
“I’ve had many sleepless nights worrying about being separated from my family,” Teresa tells the mag. “My family is my everything.”
The Bravo star described being separated from her daughters as her “ultimate nightmare,” especially after the death of Joe Giudice’s father, she admits she is worried it may become her reality.
“But what does not kill you makes you stronger,” Teresa says. “I am here 100 percent for my poor honey and he for me.”
