Teresa Giudice Cancelled WWHL Appearance Because Her Father is Sick

RHONJ star Teresa Giudice was forced to cancel her appearance on WWHL this week because her hospitalized father was moved to the intensive care unit in a New Jersey facility.

Giudice was scheduled to appear on the late-night show on Wednesday, but insiders say she was not comfortable with leaving her dad Giacinto Gorga‘s side.

“He’s in intensive care,” the insider told RadarOnline. “That’s why Teresa canceled.”

Thankfully, Danielle Staub made the appearance for Teresa.

Giudice’s father is suffering from pneumonia and was taken to a local New Jersey hospital on Tuesday.

“He’s a great man,” a friend of Giudice told the site.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

Oh No. How awful. Her mom just died of pneumonia. I am sure she is distraught. My prayers for Tre’s Dad and the family.

This is terrible news. From what I’ve seen of Mr. Gorga, he’s not a healthy many. A broken heart and illness can be a lethal combination.

How sad. Gosh, one thing after another for the family. I believe with his broken heart, he may not fight to get better. My prayers are with him & family.

    Terribly Sad!
That poor Man has had to endure the Shame of his Daughter going to Prison and losing his beloved Wife and best Friend.
    Isn’t enough a Enough?
