Taylor Armstrong Mentions Late Husband Russell In Bizarre Wedding Toast

As we previously reported, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong married John Bluher over the weekend, and RadarOnline is reporting that Armstrong mentioned her late husband in a bizarre speech at the wedding.

“Taylor gave an emotional speech to her guests where she reflected on Russell [Armstrong] and the domestic violence she suffered by his hands,” a source tells the site. “It seemed really weird and out of place and it made some of the guests uncomfortable.  While she was speaking about the domestic abuse some of the guests walked to the back of the party so they were out of hearing range.”

Taylor’s speech, which was filmed for WETV’s My Fair Wedding, also included a a promotion for a weight loss company she is representing. “It was like she was an ad for the company. She basically said ‘After my husband committed suicide I knew I needed to get back in shape,’ and it was really strange,” the insider says of Armstrong’s speech.

The source says the guests were stunned after Taylor’s speech. “No one really knew what to say so they just told her it was beautiful,” the insider claims.

UPDATE: Taylor and John took to Twitter to speak about the report from RadarOnline. John wrote, “Taylor’s wed toast was beautiful. Was a guest toast #uncomfortable.” Taylor’s friend and former RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards also added, “Taylor’s [toast] was so sweet.”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
