This season on The Real Housewives of New York City the drama on the cast trip to the Berkshires was intense. Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer found themselves in one of the most intense moments in Housewives history and Dorinda Medley wasn’t too happy with Ramona after their stay at her home. Medley was upset that Singer had taken down the production lights that were taped on the walls in the room she was staying in, ripping off some of the paint in the process.
Dorinda explained how she was upset with Ramona after the women returned to the city, and she later explained what really upset her about the situation during a recent interview with TooFab. “Here’s the thing about The Berkshires – it’s not just my home, it really is my legacy,” she said. “It’s really something that, you know, if Richard had lived, it would really be my home full time. We really built that place to retire there and spend most of our time there. I put all of my hopes and dreams into that place, and now that Richard is no longer with us, I cherish the place. I mean, I treat it with the utmost respect, like I would anyone else’s house.”
So it is really about something deeper for Dorinda. “I think the thing that was most hurtful is she just ignored it. She acted like it was no big deal. That’s what hurt me,” Dorinda told the site. “To ignore it and not acknowledge it and demean it and treat it like I’m making a big deal of it, that’s what hurt.”
When Ramona appeared on last week’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen she said that she took down the lights the production team had taped to the walls because it was around three o’clock in the morning and she wanted to go to sleep. “Well, actually, I didn’t trash. Production left up these very heavy lights, the size of, like, what you would see at a football field. And even when they do lights in my house, they take them down and they strip off the paint. So some of the paint got stripped off,” Ramona explained. “It upset her because her husband had left her that home. But they did a whole brand-new paint job.”
RHOC star Tamra Judge weighed in on the feud in the WWHL After Show. “I got a text from Tamra: ‘Ramona, this happens to me all the time. Production’s lights tear down the paint from my walls,'” Ramona read aloud from her phone.
Tamra also tweeted something similar.
