Tamra Judge Opens Up About Running A Business With Husband Eddie

Tamra

RHOC star Tamra Judge is taking to her blog this week to share her thoughts on running a business with her husband Eddie Judge. Judge admits that it wasn’t as easy as she thought to start a business with her husband and talks about the struggles, including where her and Eddie butt heads.

“My dream of opening up and business with my husband wasn’t so easy. We are now going on our third year and it has been a roller coaster. I found out fast that I had a lot to learn about running a business. Eddie had experience in starting a business and knew WAY more than I did (but he still only owns 49% hehe). Eddie lives his days off his calendar and organized spreadsheets and I fly by the seat of my pants. So obviously we would butt heads about things.

Getting married and starting a business in the same year was a challenge and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. CUT Fitness has had its up and downs and so many times I wanted to throw in the towel, but what I have learned is it takes a good three years to get a company off the ground. As CUT Fitness had growing pains so did the Judges! But nothing we couldn’t handle as you will see.

I thought it would be best if I limited my time at CUT (to three days a week) and get back into real estate. I kept my license active and have teamed up with a group at Keller Williams Mission Viejo.

I get a lot of emails and messages on social media about franchising CUT and that is exactly what our plans are. I thought it would be a great idea to start a CUT Fitness youtube channel to give people from out of the area a little taste of CUT Fitness. Our intro video already has 9 million views. We are in the process of filming short videos of workouts, food prepping, healthy lifestyle choices, and a little behind the scenes look at CUT. Make sure you subscribe. CUT Fitness is always involved in local events if you want to come out and meet us please, check out our upcoming events.

I loved seeing David and Shannon out to dinner and happy. The first few episodes of them have been so painful to watch. That bracelet David bought Shannon is beautiful. Good job, David.

I feel bad for Meghan; she is four months into her marriage and having to take on the role of stepmom to a defiant teenager. That’s a battle she is probably going to lose. Good luck, Meg.

Let me just say, I HATE BOWLING! But I was happy to go and get Vicki’s mind off the passing of her Mom. It was extremely sad when Vicki said her Mom would watch the kids. I can’t imagine the emotions she is going through.

Next week we are going to Tahiti…woot woot! I am excited and scared to see next week’s episode. Housewife trips are always filled with drama and this one is NO different.”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

How long before this Tamra the Beard leaves this obviously “straightest dude on earth”

This infomercial brought to you by CUT…

Most of the HW shows these days all all pretty much about the HW branding.

Lord, I had just assumed Tamra was already a fitness nut when she started this venture with her husband. Here’s a thought, unless you meet your husband in circumstances where you have shared professional interests and/or professional end goals, please be prepared to hit a few walls (and possibly each other across the head) due to a lack of synergy and shared, communicated & prioritized business management strategies. I have to admit I was shocked in seeing how ill-prepared she was to film her work-outs; how hard woulld it have been to check out some Old School, time tested videos and make up some new work-out combinations ??? I really hope that was editing and they just caught Tamra in the middle of an exercise brain-fart..because if not, .we’re going to need you to be able to bust out a Jane Fonda, Bob Greene, or Tammy Lee Webb move on cue after that. Unless it’s just a vanity license, no one wants to patronize business where you’re not actively involved with whatever your stated business mission is.

You made me laugh “and prepare to hit each other across the head.” That is truth when starting a business.

Also true about a marriage!!!!! Lol

How long will this nut job be on RHOC??

If Tamra can’t get folks around Santa Margaritaville ( or whatever that area is called) interested in her business, why would viewers be interested? It definetely has a certain “fast-forward” appeal to it, like Vicki’s insurance scenes. Snoooooze.
