Tamra Barney: I Didn’t Know Heather Asked Him To Turn The Bull Up

Tamra Judge is taking to her Bravo Blog to discuss Heather Dubrow’s Hoedown. Tamra says she feels like she is always in the middle of Heather and Shannon, because they continually talk bad about each other. Tamra also reveals she didn’t know Heather asked the man to turn the bull up before she got on it.

Tamra writes, “Let’s get to the dirt of things: The hoedown was a very cute idea and everything looked amazing… as expected! The view from the Dubrows’ lot is beautiful.

Shannon was late… we got it! I think if it was anyone else nothing would have been said. Heather was talking about Shannon being late to everyone. So it was natural for me to ask Shannon what happened since she lived down the street. She told me that David was coaching their daughters’ team, and I thought that was a legit excuse. So when Heather walked up, I thought it was appropriate to tell her what we were talking about instead of everyone shutting up and making her think we were all talking badly about her. I thought if Heather knew that Shannon was waiting on David she would understand… HMMM?

I really thought the fighting that was going on between Heather and Shannon was pretty stupid. I thought if they talked it out things would get better between them. I didn’t mean they needed to talk right then and there, it was just my way of saying, “I don’t want to hear about it anymore.” Heather saying that I WANTED to be in the middle was the farthest thing from the truth. Every time I hung out with Heather she talked about Shannon, and every time I was with Shannon she talked about how Heather was not nice to her. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE! I found myself picking sides at times and it had nothing to do with who I liked more. I was agreeing with the person that was RIGHT and both of them had their moments. I know what it is like being around someone you don’t really care about — everything they do drives you crazy.

Vicki… really? When I saw she said “Nice to meet you” to Lizzie, I almost fell off my chair. I am starting to think she is just screwing with Lizzie. Vicki did apologize for calling her “Izzie” and I think they have moved on? When I told Lizzie that Vicki has a hard time with new girls and if she stands up for herself like she did in the limo Vicki will stop with the name calling and respect her, I was not dissing my friend but only being honest. Sometimes if you know how to deal with a person right off the bat it makes life a lot easier.

My social media is going crazy with one question: “Did you know Heather told the guy to turn up the bull?” They answer to that question is NO. Eddie and I rode the bull many times during the party and had many “English”-speaking conversations with bull operator. He told us the best way to hold on and what not to do. I felt pretty comfortable on the bull after the fifth time I rode it so by the time the viewers saw me ride it I was thinking to myself, “I got this.”

The whole ride is a blur to me, it happened so fast. Something was clearly different — duh, he had turned it up and when it threw me off, I slammed down on my forarm and suddenly felt the pain. HO DOWN! It was hard for the viewers to see how hard I hit because of the camera position. My arm turned black and blue immediately with a big knot that looked like a bone. When I got up I felt like I was going to pass out, not sure if it was from falling or the pain? Shannon called the local urgent care and made them stay open a little longer until we got there… Thank you, Shannon. The last thing I needed was a broken arm!

After the X-ray they wrapped my arm, gave me a shot in the butt for the swelling and told me not to work out for at least a week… joy! It took a good two months to feel better, but the good thing is it wasn’t broken.”

  1. Changing the subject on y’all but what is the deal with Tamra’s husband Eddy? He couldn’t wait to jump on the bull to show off his biceps. I’m sure Tamra had to grease him down to get him in those jeans. Did anyone hear her say he’s a member of the village people? I’m sure Tamra was clowning but I kind of wonder if Eddy doesn’t want to play for Andy’s team.

    1. No kidding…. get Eddy off the show…. I’m tired of him flashing his muscles….. that always makes me think of men as insecure when they do that to their bodies… it’s not pretty… way too much.

  2. When heather got off the bull I didn’t hear her say “turn that up” it sounded to me like she said “turn that off” because she was upset at how the operator kept making it faster

  3. I have watched this episode a few times. Heather clearly told the Bull operator to turn the Bull Way Up. Nice. Personally, I have noticed a positive change in Tamera. She is trying to go to the source and talk things out. She told both Shannon & Heather to talk to each other instead of bringing her in between. That shows some maturity. Of course, most Women reach this form of maturity in High School but Tamera is a late bloomer. Heather is losing her mind or playing the mean girl this season. It is rather off setting and uncomfortable to watch. These Woman have usually gotten along. Why is Heather so down on Shannon? Odd?

  4. so much for Heather “I operate from honesty” statement…then she told an outright lie … “did not know that the bull was turned up” and blaming the worker…that is how a “higher and mightier than thou” mind operates….
