Support Group Raises Money To Support Giudice Fraud Case

On August 29th, The Maliblue Oyster Bar in Long Island reportedly held a fundraiser for Joe and Teresa Giudice. Fans supporting the Giudice family and their innocence are raising money to help support their legal bills, but Teresa and her PR team suggest the appearance was just a meet and greet with fans.

“We believe Teresa will be vindicated soon but in the meantime, we are collecting funds to aid her defense,” a spokesperson for the bar told In Touch. “She has four young children who desperately need her in their lives.”

The bar also reportedly wants to raise money for the fines the Giudices will be required to pay. The group believes Teresa will get probation and fines and escape jail time.

Teresa took to Twitter to tell her fans about the even. “Come see me at Maliblue Oyster Bar in Long Island I will be there 7:30-8:30PM.”

Teresa also took to Twitter to reveal she had no idea the charity event was being organized and that the reports of a fundraiser are not true. A PR rep for Teresa tweeted, @Teresa_Giudice will be appearing tnite as a meet and greet to kick off Labor Day weekend press has false information on any other matter.”

“Tonight’s appearance at Maliblue is just a meet & greet w/ fans. I just heard that some of the workers there wanted to support me, and that is very sweet & I appreciate it, but if anyone wants to support me, please do it by donating to a charity I love: @NephCure. Xx” Teresa tweeted.

  1. Looks like the Giudice’s are now defrauding fans. The publicity poster does not indicate that it was a fund raiser for their legal defense but does anyone truly believe that Teresa and Joe didn’t know?
BOYCOT BRAVO if Teresa isn’t fired!!! She has been arrested on 39 counts for being a thief and liar. Why should we support a criminal!
Legal Disclaimer! Comments made are my opinion ONLY and should not be considered factual. (Just in case Teresa decides to sue for slander.)

  2. Oh puleeeez!!!!!! We all remember her paying over $100,000 in CASH for furniture for that gaudy mansion they built. If they need money, sell the damn house and leave us alone.

  3. How gullible can people be?!?!? The Giudice’s are NOT innocent victims, and to treat them like a bonafide charity is appalling to me. I certainly hope there will be further reports letting us all know if they accept even one dime of any money gathered… and I’ll bet the IRS and their creditors and their other VICTIMS will be interested in that, too.

  4. Oh my god this is crazy. THESE PEOPLE BROKE THE LAW and we the tax payers are paying their bills. Why aren’t you all mad about this. A fundraiser please Teresa will take the money and go out and buy more ugly furniture or more headbands for her girls heads. THis is a Federal Issue and no one seems to understand the depth of what they have done. THis is not just a little speeding ticket people they defrauded their city and state and federal government. Signing a document stating ‘Under penalty of Perjury all the information provided is true to the best of their knowledge” this is against the law. They have committed a crime. Two big movie stars spent time in jail for the same thing – tax evasion and hopefully Teresa and Joe will be in the cell next to them THis is crazy that people feel sorry for them. Feel sorry for all the tax payers that are footing the bill for their choices. God this is just infuriating.

    1. You are so right! And they’ve not just defrauded the government in charge after charge, but they’ve bought all their ugly ostentatious stuff and not paid the bills, while continuing to buy more and more. They should be made to reimburse absolutely everyone they owe (including us) before they buy one more ridiculous thing!
