Siggy Flicker Wonders Why She’s Always Crying On RHONJ

Siggy Flicker is taking to her blog to share the details of her health scare and how it has changed her life. Flicker wishes the group could just sit down with each other and listen to one another like she was able to with Melissa Gorga over coffee.

“Some viewers have felt for me -– others have questioned my sanity -– either way, there’s no denying I’ve cried enough tears so far during this season of the RHONJ to form a Flicker River. You may have noticed I’m an emotional person, but do you know why I’m so emotional? I’m ready now to fill you in.

I’ve always had issues with my fibroids, but two years ago, they were inflamed enough to require surgery. During the surgery, my doctor, Dr. Nimesh Nagarsheth who saved my life, found a pre-cancerous tumor on my other ovary. Who knew inflamed fibroids could be such a blessing?! I underwent a full hysterectomy and my body went into complete shock; my hormones were –- and occasionally continue to be –- out of whack. My doctor recommended that I do hormone replacement therapy to counter the effects of my uterus being removed, but after much research, I decided against it because of the increased breast cancer risk associated with it. I also opted to have my breast implants removed because I couldn’t stand the thought of anything foreign in my body anymore. I embrace my hot flashes and my highs and lows. I’m alive and healthy, and that’s all that matters to me!

Now more than ever, I’m able to focus on what I feel is truly important in life. I’ve never been one to partake in drama, and after going through something like this, I know all too well that you don’t know what each day brings; life is too short and too precious, and there are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE THAN PETTY BULLS—.

I’m so lucky that my girlfriends have accepted me for who I am, an empathetic, compassionate, loyal friend to all of my loved ones. I’m also so grateful that they respect my wishes — I don’t want to be in the middle of any more drama. The ladies and I have a pact: Teresa and Melissa won’t talk about Jacqueline in my presence, and Jacqueline won’t talk about Teresa or Melissa around me. I respect them and love them ALL too much to tolerate anything being said about any of them. Thank you, Chris, for understanding that I’m about mending, not breaking people.

What I do wish is that everyone on the show would sit down together and really listen to each other, the way Melissa and I did over coffee. You get so much further with people when you sit down with them, really listen to what they have to say, and you’re honest with them. I saw Melissa in a whole new light after our conversation, and I’m so glad that we each took the time to meet that day.

You see, I’ve always been the way I am, but after my health scare, I like to think of myself as a new and improved Siggy, “Siggy 2.0”! Life is too fragile not to be true to you, and I’m not changing ONE BIT for anyone or any television show.”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

Likes Siggy at first, but now she is Soggy…..crying creates attention And this chic must LOVEthe attention– why else would she keep butting herself in where not wanted? BAD therapist!

Soggy…good one..! She shouldn’t be on this show….

It’s a hysterectomy, not pleasant but not the end of the world! I had one at 35 and it’s the best thing I ever did! I hate to think what she would be like if it was something really serious!

    • Lol, peri-menapause is doing the same to me. I like Siggy actually, but I don think she gets too emotionally invested, just like Jac’s.

      • Ooopss..normally I let a spelling error go on my post, but in this case, it changed my opinion..I DO think she gets too emotionally involved, like Jac’s.

    • Just a thought

Did you have a complete hysterectomy? I only ask because I have friends who have had hysterectomies where only their uterus is removed. The uterus doesn’t affect hormones. Having you tubes and overies removed is a whole different animal. Immediate menopause which is not fun. All those symptoms hit you at once. It really sucks.

Good morning Suze freedomgirl @ one rotten egg! (That name eggy, lol) ♥️♥️♥️

I love Siggy! She is too much as she herself says, she cries a lot too, I think she probably would cry a lot without a hysterectomy lol she seems the type to me. She’s good for the show I think, she shows some ladies the good way of conflict resolution and I appreciate that about her. She sees both sides and doesn’t take sides and I relate to that cause I’ve never been the type either to take sides. All are created equal for better for worse, I try to live by that. Naturally I do have my private preferences though. 😉

    • Good Morning Miss M. I agree that I think she is genuine. I’ve said this before, but I think both her an Delores are genuine and without agenda. At least it appears that way. The only agenda that Siggy might have is to be loyal to Jac’s, but I think she is getting a dose of how difficult it is to diffuse Jac’s and to keep the peace.

Hi freedom! I meant to say that too, I really like Dolores as well. The both of them are just a super duper addition to this crazy jersey group. They’re the voices of reason and sanity! 😉

        • True story. Unfortunately, that leaves two options for them to stay on this franchise. Either be forced to step it up and create unnecessary drama, or be kicked off the show for not be controversial enough for ratings. I think they were completely needed for the storyline this year because of the division with these whacko sets of women. lol.

Suze ♥️♥️♥️ How are you doing my dear sweet one? I hope you’re having good days of late and you’re saddled with lots and lots of company and tea and cakes and the fresh outdoors. The weather here is definitely turning cooler every day and we had frost on the pumpkin this morning! But the colors are lit up here with the red, oranges, and yellows….so beautiful, my favorite time of year. Baking up a storm too.. 😉 ❌⭕️❌
