RHONY Season 6 To Film In April & Air In Fall 2013! Plus- Why All The Delays?

Ramona Singer

We finally have some insight into when The Real Housewives of New York will begin to film Season 6! After many delays and questions if the show would continue, and which ‘Wives would return, Wetpaint Entertainment is reporting Season 6 of RHONY will begin filming in April, and air in Fall of 2013. But why has production pushed the filming date back so many times? We have our opinions on why, click here for that, or continue reading to see what insiders are telling Wetpaint.

“Right now, filming [for RHONY Season 6] is tentatively set to start in early April,” a source exclusively tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “It’s believed everyone will be coming back with the addition of at least one new cast member, possibly two.”

So why the delays?

“No one wants to see the women bundled up in winter coats and bulky clothing,” a second source explains. “Having them in spring dresses and warm weather outfits just makes for a sexier-looking show. Plus, they don’t start spending any real time in the Hamptons until spring. Filming should begin in early April and run through the fall.”

Do YOU think this is the REAL reason RHONY Season 6 has been pushed back?

I’m not sure who that watches is dying to see these 40-somethings in bikinis.

Glad to hear all the women are coming back, especially Heather and Carole. They were my favorites in Season 5.

I don’t think RHONY is as interesting as the other franchises but at the same time, I may watch the premiere to see if it improved.
