Who Is RHOBH Star Erika Girardi’s Son?

We know that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Girardi has one son, Tommy, from her previous marriage. And although she has not shared much about his life because of his job as a Los Angeles Police Officer, she is opening up about what it’s like to have her son work in such a dangerous field.

“I’m very proud of my son being in law enrforcement, but obviously it can get a little nerve racking,” she told The Daily Dish about her child from her first marriage (she married second husband, Thomas Girardi, in 1999). “It’s a dangerous profession. I’ve known my son was going to be in law enforcement from the time he could walk and talk. That’s all he’s ever wanted and that’s kind of your role as a parent is to honor who your children really are.”

So what about Tommy’s personal life? “I don’t have any requirements for my son, who he dates, because he’s an adult. He has good judgment and he has a great head on his shoulders,” she said. “So whoever he chooses to date, I’m sure they’re lovely. I’m not going to run his life. He has to run his own, but I think he’s doing a great job.”

Before marrying Tom, Erika shares that she raise her son as a single mother. “Single moms have it tough. It’s hard. It’s exhaustive, but at the same time it’s very rewarding,” she said. “You know especially now that he’s older and he’s doing so well. I think that really makes the struggle worth it.”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

All I will say about this is my nephew has just retired from the police force and it’s probably the first time in twenty odd years my sister is sleeping properly. He started off in RAF then went into police late, he was 30, within the first year he was Tactical Firearms Unit then First Response Unit. He has had his arm slashed from top to bottom and lots of other injuries. So any parent of a son or Daughter who is in the Police deserves a medal of their own!

All I will say about LE is that they are under paid, under respected, under valued and this country needs about a million more of them. The drug addicted, angry, lazy, violent thugs who shoot at or maim or kill LE should be hung out in the town square and they can die there while vultures pick at their rotting flesh.

…and with this, I hope that the media outlets never ask her about her son again. There are simply some times in life where anonymity is not only preferred, it’s necessary for one’s safety. Sometimes the public simply wants to know too much.
