Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson’s on-again off-again boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, has been caught on an audio recording calling her a “f*cking whore” and threatening to “beat her ass.” RadarOnline has obtained exclusive tapes of Brooks threatening physical violence towards Vicki “because I can (and) that’s what we do in the South.”

Brooks is heard slurring his words and bashing Vicki, who he’s dated since 2011, with another man who is said to be Vicki’s son-in-law, Ryan Culberson.

The tapes were recorded because people close to Vicki thought Brooks was going to harm her. The following audio has two different recordings of Brooks that were said to of taken place last year.

“F*cking whore, imma [sic] f*cking beat her ass when i see her,” Brooks says. “It’ll be like a week when I see her, sh*t.”

“That ain’t right,” Ryan tells him. The rest of the conversation is as follows:

BA: It ain’t?
RC: No.
BA: What ain’t right?
RC: You can’t beat her up.
BA: I’m going to be beat her ass.
RC: Why?
BA: Because I can. That’s what we do in the South.
RC: No. I don’t do that.
BA: You don’t beat their ass?
RC: No.
BA: Well you probably should do.
RC: No.
BA: Oh god. This is us.
RC: Yeah upstairs.
BA: You be careful.
RC: You be careful. I am good.

The second recoding starts with Brooks reading a text from Vicki. “Do as you do. Sorry you’re drunk again. So your loss. I can’t fight with I. I don’t have it in me.”

BA: Read me the riot act.
RC: Huh?
BA: Read me the riot act.
RC: Who is?
BA: Vicki.
RC: Reading you the riot act?
BA: Yep.
RC: What’s that mean?
BA: Do as you do. Sorry you’re drunk… again. So your loss. I can’t fight with I. I don’t have it in me.
RC: What’s the riot act? I thought it was like a police thing.
BA: Eh, I don’t know. So whatever.

When contacted for comment, Brooks was unable to say anything because it is part of what’s going to air on part 3 of the RHOC reunion special, his lawyer told Radar. “The topic and Mr. Ayers’ related comments were filmed in July, 2013, and are scheduled to air during the ‘Reunion,’” Patricia A. Marr, Esq tells the site. “While Mr. Ayers appreciates the opportunity to comment for your media outlet, he is prohibited from commenting about future air segments.”
