NeNe Leakes’ Sitcom ‘The New Normal’ Gets Cancelled!


Real Housewives of Atlanta Star NeNe Leakes went from being on three TV shows to two when NBC cancelled her sitcom ‘The New Normal’ on Friday. NeNe, who played TV assistant-turned-producer Rocky Rhoades on the show, paid tribute to the show tweeting: “I worked wit some of the most amazing people ever on the New Normal!  I love u all!  We will meet again.”

Ryan Murphy, producer of Glee, gave NeNe her start in acting, and the Reality Star paid tribute to him and New Normal Producer, Ali Adler, tweeting: “I love my fairy God Mother @MrRPMurphy & AliAdler4 believing n me & givin me an amazing opportunity!  No mo New Normal but we r forever.”

Low ratings caused the network to cancel the show, but NeNe is still part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and she also plays Coach Roz on Glee.

  1. Maybe this will humble this loudmouth, hateful, fake, shady liar. She and Greg better hope their RealLives and Secrets dont’t surface because they both look like fools. She is way lucky BravoAndy thinks she is so great cause it is the bravo paycheck that keeps them going – Not Glee. I use to love this woman but she has become so fake and lost her “it factor.” I really hope she sees that humility is in order and stop thinking SHE is the reason people watch RHOA – cause she isn’t for many viewers.

  2. I really liked that show but the writing was too frenetic. It seemed like the actors were racing to get all of the words out.
