Marysol Patton Explains Why Bravo Changed The Cast For RHOM Season 3!

Many Real Housewives fans were shocked when Bravo released the trailer for The Real Housewives of Miami season 3 and learned Marysol Patton wasn’t coming back as an “Offical Housewife.” But in a new interview with RadarOnline, Marysol insists that even though she isn’t in the cast photo, she filmed just as much as she did when she was a full-time Housewife. “I’m not in the main title shot with the photos with the girls, but I film just as much as I did when I was a regular housewife,” she told Radar of her role in season 3. “So, I guess it will come down to the editing.”

“Essentially, what I got is that we were too many housewives last year,” Marysol said of Bravo’s decision to change her and Ana Quincoces’ titles. “I think that was a decision that Bravo thought was best for our franchise was to have less housewives so that there was more quality and the audience could get more involved with the ladies and their stories. It was too hard to do that when there was seven or eight of us.”

“We’re still a baby franchise,” she said. “Even though we are going into our third season, I think that was a smart decision. It was very hard to get involved in the characters when there were so many characters.”

“I enjoy myself and I enjoy the friendships that were made and the ladies that I’ve met,” Marysol said of her commitment to the show. “Today and where I am today, I could say maybe a few more years.”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
