Marysol Patton Explains Why Bravo Changed The Cast For RHOM Season 3!

Many Real Housewives fans were shocked when Bravo released the trailer for The Real Housewives of Miami season 3 and learned Marysol Patton wasn’t coming back as an “Offical Housewife.” But in a new interview with RadarOnline, Marysol insists that even though she isn’t in the cast photo, she filmed just as much as she did when she was a full-time Housewife. “I’m not in the main title shot with the photos with the girls, but I film just as much as I did when I was a regular housewife,” she told Radar of her role in season 3. “So, I guess it will come down to the editing.”

“Essentially, what I got is that we were too many housewives last year,” Marysol said of Bravo’s decision to change her and Ana Quincoces’ titles. “I think that was a decision that Bravo thought was best for our franchise was to have less housewives so that there was more quality and the audience could get more involved with the ladies and their stories. It was too hard to do that when there was seven or eight of us.”

“We’re still a baby franchise,” she said. “Even though we are going into our third season, I think that was a smart decision. It was very hard to get involved in the characters when there were so many characters.”

“I enjoy myself and I enjoy the friendships that were made and the ladies that I’ve met,” Marysol said of her commitment to the show. “Today and where I am today, I could say maybe a few more years.”

  1. What I’ve noticed is that Miami is now the second series in the franchise that currently has all married women. The only other series is New Jersey, but now Beverly Hills is demoting all of it’s non-married Housewives to “Friends of the Housewives” too. Maybe Bravo is finally starting to make the show about actual wives and is cleaning out all the single ladies (nothing against single ladies, of course).

  2. I personally think that these are show girls. Real housewives that I know do not look like mutton dressed as lamb. Come off it. Most of these women are scared to look their real age. A few are older than me and I look younger than them. If they are in their 40s and look old and I am 40 and look young with no surgery whatsoever, then I am doing something right where they are cheating. 🙂 xx
