Is LuAnn de Lesseps’ Fiance Tom D’Agostino Looking For Fame?

Luann de Lesseps’ fiancé Thomas D’Agostino Jr. dated Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer before he got engaged to Lu, so is it a coincidence he dated two Housewives? Dorinda Medley is weighing in on the topic, because she is responsible for introducing the couple.

One caller during a recent appearance on WWHL asked Dorinda if she believes Tom is dating Lu to get famous. “No, I don’t. I don’t think so,” she said. “I think Tom is one of these guys who has dated a lot of women on the Upper East Side.”

Jules Wainstein added that the couple seems “genuinely happy.” “I’ve spent a lot of time with Tom and Luann. They’re a good couple. They’re nice.”

Dorinda said Tom’s tendency to date RHONY cast members was all about location. “They both like to date, so when you live in this small island called Manhattan, you’re bound to run into exes and other people,” she told Andy Cohen.

About 1.5 million people live on the tiny island of Manhattan and the population nearly doubles with commuters, etc., so I doubt Tom has to only meet Housewives…. Clearly, he wants the fame, and IMO, he is a jerk. He and Luann deserve each other. Neither seems so faithful and both “like to date” a lot. Luann and her ex had an open marriage….enough said. I wish them well.

Real Sandy….I totally agree

Yes, if being married to a fake countess, who sleeps with married men, and who cannot sing means being famous

It may also be that these women are quite wealthy, and he is not so wealthy. Either way he is still fine for someone who just doesn’t care. They do have prenups today, and if Lu has a good one, then whatever…she can marry whomever she likes.

So will Lu lose that fake title once married? Does her alimony payments stop? (Well is running dry, Tom).

She can never lose what she never had…nobility titles were abolished in France over a 100 years ago, today there is a registry of titles that some people still use because they’ve had them for centuries, however, the title of her husband is not in that list, it was created as an award for the construction of the Suez Canal but never had political power

Typically alimony ends when the receiving ex spouse remarries. In some states alimony ends if the ex spouse moves in with his/her girl or boyfriend. I honestly don’t see this wedding taking place. On one of the recent WWL shows Andy asked Carole if she had gotten an invite and then shared he had received a “save the date” card. Carole stated that no, she wasn’t on Lu’s guest list. Big surprise there!
