Luann D’Agostino Responds to Open Marriage Rumors

On the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, Luann de Lesseps was still defending her husband Tom D’Agostino to her co-stars. Ramona Singer brought up that she knew Tom and Luann had an open marriage and Lu is speaking out about those rumors now.

“I wish she would focus on her own life and stop focusing on Tom and I,” Luann addressed Ramona’s comments during a recent interview with The Daily Dish. “So Ramona likes to spread rumors, and it’s just not real.”

Lu noted that she has moved away from the drama from last season and she wishes her cast mates would also. “You’ve got to remember we’ve been [together] for a year now, Tom and I, so Ramona’s trying to dwell in the past and trying to come up with more things about Tom,” she said. “And it’s just not true, and I’m not gonna feed into it.”

  1. It is “Tom and me” and not “Tom and I, at the end of a prepositional phrase, Luann.
She keeps trying to sound intelligent, but she doesn’t. She keeps trying to keep the title countess, even in her tagline, but she never was royalty in the USA.
Luann, you may be a Real Housewife of NY, but you are no one’s role model. You are merely an ex LPN from CT who got lucky that her modeling helped her meet a wealthy old Count who wanted his next younger wife. You had a family, did well, and then he left for his new flings. That is it.
Luann is classless, titleless and delusional. I still hope she met her match with this new husband. Everyone deserves someone, even if we cannot stomach them ourselves.

    1. She was never royalty anywhere…the title was created out of nowhere at the end of the 19th century in France, where it lost its validity like all the nobility titles many years ago

      1. Yes, I know! If only she would take out Tom from the sentence and say it again, she would realize how wrong it sounds to put I instead of me in that sentence.

  2. What a piece of WORK she is!
As a mother: Does anyone remember her son asking her to please stay home for the evening?
As a friend: How dare she treat Sonja with such disregard? This woman provided her a home, LuAnn treated her so dismissively at the reunion, on the yacht, everywhere. Hideous.
As a significant other, trying to cover your tracks ON CAMERA when hooking up with a dude dressed like a pirate?
Admonishing chauffeurs when not being addressed as Countess? Isn’t the Queen referred to as m’am in most situations?
    As a singer, please!
She’s out for one person, and one person alone.
