Lisa Vanderpump Officially Quits Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After 9 Seasons

I am so happy to be back and blogging about the Housewives after a long hiatus. One of the things I couldn’t wait to write about most was this season of RHOBH.

With the recent news that Lisa Vanderpump has officially left the show after 9 seasons, I definitely have my opinions about the news.

Lisa, 58, announced her departure from the show at the 7th Annual Real to Reel: Portrayals and Perceptions of LGBT’s in Hollywood.

After a season’s worth of drama, Lisa explained, “The last year was a very negative year for me. I feel like we’re moving forward. They have had their resolution. I just had a horrible time with the show and the women. It was a very sad time in my life and it wasn’t made any better. I just decided to walk away.”

Lisa’s announcement comes right after Andy Cohen revealed Vanderpump did not attend the season 9 reunion taping. “There’s major things happening,” he teased on Instagram. “There’s trouble afoot in Beverly Hills.”

“The objective of the reunion is to reunite, right? And I have no inclination to reunite with the women who’ve been harassing me for 10 months now,” Vanderpump told the DailyMailTV. “So in all probability, no.”

So will Lisa ever return? Doesn’t sound like it. “I think they’ve made it pretty impossible for me to go back frankly,” she said. “So … no.”

As you probably know, Lisa has been feuding with her RHOBH cast mates over a dog that her former friend Dorit Kemsley adopted from Vanderpump Dogs. Lisa has also been on the outs with her longtime friend Kyle Richards, who she asked to leave her home after a blowout fight.

I have to say, I am not surprised by this news at all. There has been tension building in some of these friendships for years behind the cameras. I happened to have met several of these ladies and have some major inside knowledge about what’s happened over the years.

But here’s my question for you… whose side are you on? Lisa or everyone else?
