Lisa Vanderpump Believes There Was Miscommunication Between Lisa Rinna, PK, and Dorit

Lisa Vanderpump is taking to her blog this week to share her thoughts on what went down between Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson and her friends PK and Dorit Kemsley on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Vanderpump insists that the entire drama started due to a miscommunication between PK, Dorit and Rinna. Lisa also weighs in on the tension between Erika and Dorit.

“At Dorit and PK’s house, the dinner party held for London friends was a relaxed friendly affair where the wine obviously flowed copiously. It was a dinner party, I imagine, that as often happens stretched over many hours, so one might be forgiven if an accurate memory of what had transpired in conversation might be a little hazy so to speak…When we flash back, it compounds the fact that Dorit was inaccurate of her recollection. The subject of Eileen’s name and mother, of course, was raised, however there were wires that were crossed. LR was trying to convey that the sad passing of their parents had little to do with the convoluted scenario that had played out between us all last year at the reunion. Eileen’s mother had unfortunately died a few days prior to the reunion, unbeknownst to us. I see PK and Dorit interpreting the conversation differently. They construed that Eileen’s mother passed previously, prior to the whole situation many months before and maybe that had changed her demeanor through last summer, and if we were friends, she should have conveyed that to me. I see their point, them believing that for Eileen to be immersed in her grief might have been responsible for the negative interactions between us…

Not so…Their parents passed after the disastrous trip to Dubai and that is why LR was speaking of the reunion.

Kyle and I go to see her doctor who does skin rejuvenation. We most definitely had a giggle, and yes, I see the comment of her saying that I shouldn’t pretend that I have never done anything to my face. I am totally transparent: laser treatments minimally, as I can’t afford the downtime, and a little filler with Botox are my best friends…

And also, best friends don’t feel the need to point that out.

When I view the lunch that Camille held, I wish in one regard that I had been present as the premise of the conversation seems to dwell on the previous misunderstanding…

The tension between Erika and Dorit is palpable. Still the residue of knickergate tarnishes their interaction.

Dorit kindly remarks to Erika that she is still a young woman, but the interaction between them seems as cool as the chilled wine they were drinking. She then tries to soften the conversation with the remark of being in her 40s, but once again is shot down.

This week we are introduced to the lovely Eden Sassoon, who, as I have been privileged to know her father, would welcome meeting next week. He was an iconic man that frequented our restaurant and was kind enough to invite Ken and I to his home for lunches and intriguing conversation as he regaled amazing stories of his life.

So Eden will be included in the complicated machinations of this group. I hope she is prepared lol.

It is all so precarious, and I wasn’t there to witness many of these interactions, so the hot seat has been graciously relinquished this season to my friend Dorit. Dorit is a kind, lovely young woman but a formidable opponent, make no doubt.

I feel secure in the fact that as weeks pass you will have a better understanding of who she is rather than the polarizing portrayal so far…

I have no ill will for any of these ladies as we move into our next year. I interpreted that from both LR and ED that the fragility of the years we are granted on this planet are glaring when we lose a loved one, so sit tight stay with us, enjoy the ride, and I will see you next week.”

  1. Most know I love Lisa but she needs to stay out of it. Let Dorit bury herself for the future of the show! Mind you I did think the same about Rinna and she is back, (I still don’t like her and don’t think I ever will). I do wonder if all of the bad feeling over the last few weeks will be heaped on Eden after next week. All of the rumours about who she has fallen out with makes me wonder. It will be interesting to see what happens!

  2. My niece was over last night and she watched the Rinna/Eileen show – I saw very little of LVP. SeeMs like the show this season has revolved around those two nuts more and more.

  3. I think it’s very kind of Lisa to try to convey such glowing reflections on behalf of her friend, but sorry, the girl is digging herself into a hole with lying every time you turn around, whether it’s about something that allegedly took place (and I’m not convinced at ALL she or her husband were able to see past Erika’s thighs into her privates), or lying about conversations that absolutely 100% happened. The Kemsleys are pretentious, pot stirring, attention seeking trouble magnets – and are likely so used to wallowing in this kind of affected, muddy behavior, surely this isn’t their first time around the rodeo. They don’t need protection, and Lisa needs to stay out of it. If they want to come in like gangbusters and insult everyone at every turn, then let them…they will simply have to accept the repercussions from cast members and viewers alike.

  4. LR just had to run to ED with all the nonsense. She didn’t bother to mention she was the one who brought up ED’s mom passing. I hope this isn’t going to be drug out through the rest of the season. ED confronting Dorit is ridiculous. ED & LR don’t communicate very well. ED could easily have just told Dorit, in plain English, that what happened with LVP happened before her mother passing. As usual ED seemed like she was accusing Dorit.

    1. Lisa DID say to Eileen that she brought the subject up because she thought Eileen was so amazing the way she handled everything. She DID say to Dorit that all these things happened before. Don’t care for Dorit at all. I’m sure that, as good friends Eileen and Lisa R tell each other everything. Dorit must be the stupidest thing. She couldn’t remember a 3 way conversation about this just a few days? Not believable sweetizu

    2. Well, if in conversation you talk about how sad it is that your friend lost 6 people in the last year, and that the Doritos & PKs you’re talking to start bashing your friend, I’m sure you’d tell too. It’s called loyalty. If Dorito and her creepy husband didn’t react like such assh*les, nothing would’ve to be told.

  5. In fairness to LVP, I think she’s right in her thoughts that Dorit and PK didn’t quite get the timing LR was referring to with the death of the parents. I also agree with LVP about Kyle saying work LVP has done. Even though I fess up and speak somewhat openly about the injectibles I get done, I’ve had to get pissy with my husband for volunteering it. So I know the feeling. Okay that’s the best I’m going to say about LVP (not one of my favourites though I do like her sense of humour……sometimes) And yes, this smacks of LVP defending Brandi which is commendable as a friend but she should lay low this time ’round.

I don’t understand why ER felt she had to say something to Dorit about it. I didn’t think it was important enough to be justified at that moment. Though having said that……what the Hell?! Dorit is way too ditzy!! Between the irritating accent, the snotty “my-shit-don’t-smell” and the know it all attitude, I’m not getting or liking her.
