Lisa Vanderpump Admits She Flipped Her Lid Over Fight With Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley

Lisa Vanderpump is opening up about the new season of RHOBH, and she even admits in a new interview that she questions her sanity while filming the hit show.

“There are moments when I question my sanity,” Lisa said at the show’s premiere party in Los Angeles. “Doing both shows at the same time can be extraordinarily challenging, but look at what we’ve managed to achieve. Look at what Bravo’s covered, opening our dog rescue center, drawing attention to the things LBGTQ stuff that I’ve been involved in. They really have given me an incredible vehicle for the things that I’ve been passionate about as well.”

Vanderpump also shared that she tried to have Teddi Mellencamp’s back. She told US Weekly, “I got along with her very well, but not everybody got along with her. We have a lot of common, a love of horses, so I had a good time with her, I really did. One of the prerequisites, as we all know in reality television, is speak your mind, and sometimes what’s on your mind isn’t exactly what everybody wants to hear.”

We know that Lisa’s friendships with Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley are tested this season and she teased that moment. “Well, it was kind of cumulative. You’ll see. You can never really sum up a situation in just 30 seconds,” Lisa said. “I don’t know, I suppose I just flipped my lid a little bit. I’m allowed to. Hey, I’ve done 300 episodes and you rarely see me lose my mind. On Vanderpump Rules, I’m pretty contained. But sometimes things get a little heated.”

“We were pretty shocked,” Dorit told E! News. “We were both a little bewildered and I think that shows on our face.”

“Erika said something like, ‘Oh, I heard you pulled away in your Rolls-Royce. It was very Alexis Carrington,” Vanderpump said, referencing Dynasty‘s beloved diva. “I think I said to her, ‘What do you want me to do? Get on a bloody push bike?!'”

We will have to see what happens that provokes this moment from Lisa, I know I can’t wait to watch.

  1. Slow clap for Lisa for not “flipping her lid” on VP Rules. Gosh, that must be so hard when you’re the boss and no one can stand up to you.

Her little speech in that interview posted above sounds like an exit interview, IMO. I would like to see her gone.

I paid particular attention to her words last night. Her machine-gun questioning of Teddi was outrageous. It’s a good thing Teddi hasn’t had an affair or she’d be asking about that too.

90% of what comes out of her mouth is a nasty dig at someone. Oh, wait, I forgot, “British Humour”.

    1. I have to agree. I’ve never been a fan of LVP, but I’m not a fan of any of them. I don’t despise them, but I don’t like them either. They’re all blah and I feel neutral. I’ll never understand why some fans refer to LVP as their queen and defend her to the point of nastiness.

  2. LVP is very calculating&manipulative! She is very threatened by new cast members. She measures her words 4 her own benifit. I wud tread lighly around her! I’m out! Peace!

  3. It didn’t record for me for some reason so I am irritated that I haven’t gotten to see it yet. It’s my favorite HW show after RHNYC.

  4. How she doesn’t flip on those drunken brats of VP Rules is beyond me. It is a testament to her patience and why we are talking about her flipping out. No one talks about, say, Ramona Singer flipping out because she does it on a weekly basis. I can see why people think of her as calculating, though…the rest of the Housewives on all of the franchises do well to calculate the tip on a lunch bill. They are all very threatened by someone smarter than they are.

  5. What’s up with Lisa and Teddi?? I’ve never seen Lisa chase anyone this hard. Harvey Weinstein in a bathrobe at The Peninsula was less aggressive.
