Lisa Rinna Reveals Harry Hamlin Threatened To Divorce Her For Doing RHOBH

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna has been married to Harry Hamlin for 18 years and in a new interview Rinna reveals her husband said he would divorce her if she took the job on the Bravo show!

“I went to Harry and said I’m thinking about [doing RHOBH] and he looked at me and said, ‘If you do this show, I’ll divorce you,'” Lisa revealed during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Michael.

“I walked away and was done with it,” she continued. “Actually, I was done with the show idea. And he comes to me a day later and he goes… and you’ve met him, he’s very mellow… very low-key… and he said, ‘I’ve thought about this and I think it’ll be a good idea if you did it.’ He went through it. And I was like ‘Okay.’ And there you are!”

Rinna says she has had a lot of fun being part of the reality show. “For me, as I was growing up I was told not to have feelings. You don’t say how you feel about anything,” she explained. “Doing a show like this, you have to think out loud, you have to have an opinion. It’s freed me in a sense. I’ve become this truth-seeking monster!”

But she particularly likes filming the show’s confessional interviews. “I quite like doing them. I can really say how I feel. I like it! Isn’t that weird?” she said. “Sickly, [but] I like it.”

  1. I loved having Lisa R this season on BH! What a fun and funny gal. She is never at a loss gir words and usually has the best quips. I hope she comes back next year as she brought a great vibe and positive energy to the franchise. Plus she has tge glitz and glam to go with the BH lifestyle too. #TeamLisaR

    1. Free country she can say anything she wants right? Alcoholics and drug addicts are impossible to live with so I wouldn’t have blamed her.
