Kim Zolciak-Biermann Shares Her Ties to Buffalo and if She’s Moving There

Kim Zolciak is sharing why she is excited that her husband Kroy Biermann just got picked up by the the Buffalo Bills by revealing how she has such close ties to the city of Buffalo in a brand new interview.

“Buffalo is like everywhere in my life,” Kim told “My parents grew up in Western New York. My dad (Joe) is from Buffalo and my mom (Karen) is from Springville. Then my aunts live in Rochester. My chiropractor, my chef, they’re all from Western New York. My chef went to St. John Fisher College.”

Growing up with her father in the Navy the family moved around a bit, and Kim was born in Pensacola, Florida, but she was raised in Connecticut. She remembers spending parts of her summers growing up on Keuka Lake at her aunt’s house.

“I just haven’t been back in a really long time,” she added.

Even though she grew up up in a state that’s often split with Giants and Patriots fans, the red, white and blue in her household was all Bills, and her father Joe is the one to thank for that.

“My dad was born in Buffalo. My dad is Buffalo Bills obsessed to a whole other level,” she said. “But I guess there are a lot of people who are like that with the Bills because I’m seeing it everywhere on social media right now since Kroy signed.”

“If the Bills lost my dad was in a horrible mood and we were not to talk to him. That was my entire life. He still wears the zebra pants that the people wore like 20 years ago. They’re so horribly worn out. He wears the old sweatshirts. He’s a whole other level.”

And Kim will make sure that her schedule works around Kroy’s games. “I love to be in front row and I love to have Kroy see us there,” she said. “I think it’s important for him to know that I’m right there for whatever reason.”

“I will be at every Buffalo home game for sure. That’s a definite,” Zolciak-Biermann said. “I will make a couple of road games too like at Miami because that’s close. I’ll actually be in California when they have a game out there. I think it’s the L.A. Rams game. I’m out in L.A. quite a bit so I’ll probably be at that game as well. It’s just a matter of trucking the whole family. I have to figure it all out.”

“I want him to be as comfortable as possible,” she said. “I don’t want him to have to worry about that stuff and having a car. I’m working on that right now. My chef grew up there so she knows a ton of people up there. So I’m thinking it’ll be like a home away from home actually.”

The family is still deciding on whether or not to buy a home in Buffalo. “It happened so quickly so I’m still kind of processing that he’s up there and I’m here because that’s very new obviously,” she said of her Atlanta home. “And I’m wondering what it’s going to be like to have a season in another state. It’s all new territory.”

“I am excited for the snow because my kids have seen snow maybe once or twice in their life max. Then the Bills have a game on Christmas Eve so I’m thinking, do I do Christmas up there? I have a lot to figure out.”

“I am just getting such good vibes about Buffalo,” she said. “Everyone has been so welcoming. I’m really excited about things for Kroy. So we’re looking forward to it all.”

  1. Whatever Kim. As long as your cash cow brings home the bacon and you will be able to freeze your face more, you’re happy. Too bad you can’t take criticism from your followers and have to block every single one of them that calls you out.

    1. Kim doesn’t need to move to Buffalo now. Kroy was already dumped by the new team. I’ve seen him play. IMHO, all Kroy seems to do is dance around the field and, like someone else pointed out, jump on the pile AFTER the tackle was already made.
Good thing Kim spit out 4 meal tickets in 3 years.

  2. Oh puhleeze Kim, you are absolutely sickening. What is wrong with renting a home in Buffalo and waiting to see if the Bills want to keep Kroy. After that achilles injury, the Falcons just signed him for a year, what makes you think that the Bills are going to sign him to a long term contract??? Wishful thinking??? I am not sure if you are still estranged from your parents, I am assuming so. You have to stick close to your family, you and Kroy have alienated yourselves from your childrens’ grandparents, so any extended family you can round up would be a great idea. Sorry that poor “Anna” has to start high school in a new city, been there, done that, didn’t get a tee shirt. Now, what in the world is Brielle going to do – move in with her new boyfriend????!!!! Wouldn’t that just make mama so very proud. The girl should maybe focus on getting some education and learning how to WORK unless she is following in your footsteps and looking to marry a “sugar daddy”. That may have short-term benefits, but what happens when she tires of him?

  3. I do have a weakness for this woman. Her love her her husband and kids is sweet and she’s so over the top but without being ratchet . I’ve only watched one season of RHOA ( waste of my life lol) and she was already gone so I haven’t really seen her in action.

    1. Morning Rain, I like watching her with her kids in Don’t be Tardy. Whether people like her or not she seems a really good mum. It’s on here at the moment so see bits and pieces.

  4. I don’t and won’t watch the KK show. As I have said before, Buffalo is the place where Buffalo Wings were accidentally invented, so they must have awesome wings there! Kim can always visit and then just have a bit of lipo if she needs it. It has always bwen all about Kim. It sickens me to see her mention her family like it matters to her when I am pretty sure she is estranged from both her family and Kroy’s, and it was her choice. She threw her mom out of her wedding reception and that was the last straw for me. I cannot watch her. Why am I wven commenting? Yuck.

            1. Hmm. I wondered, since California healthy eaters are generally repulsed by wings?! 😉

I read about Kim a while back more than once, and unless things have changed, her daughters and all children do not see their grandparents on either side.

                1. Personally I’m a breast person I don’t like wings. (I don’t have either wings or breasts either!) Xoxox

                2. KFC used to be here, but they closed it! I love fried chicken and rarely eat it. The nearest KFC is far away but love orig. recipe.I was always a white meat lover, and the boys love the rest. They really love Buffalo wings, and we get them elsewhere as an appetizer on occasion.

                  1. We took the kids to Spain on holiday and went to Madrid, my son chose the restaurant, KFC!!!!! Needless to say we got him a takeaway and the rest of us ate elsewhere.

                    1. There’s only few KFC in SF and non of them are close to us. Luckily there are 2 ‘soul food’ places that make incredible fried chicken so when I’m feeling like a cow I go there and have a blast! Yum! 🙂 I try to limit these urges but doesn’t always work

                    2. I told the hubby about the KFC in Spain you visited, and he said, They have KFC in Spain, and we don’t have one here…not right.
All the fast food restaurants closed here except McDs, BK and Wendy’s. Taco Bell closed, Pizza Hut and Dominos too. I like Italian pizza so no loss with pizza.
I hope he liked the KFC. Did you try any? 😉

  5. Southern fried chicken can be great. None of those places are near me, soul food or not. One of the KFCs I have gone to used to have mean greens (collard greens) and red beans and rice…nice. The one that used to be in town but closed never had mean greens or red beans and rice. 🙁
