Kathy Wakile is taking to her Bravo Blog to explain what she tweeted while the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion was airing this week. Kathy says she doesn’t just talk to hear her own voice and if it is a conversation worth having, she will speak up. Read what else Kathy had to say about the reunion below.
Kathy writes, “During the episode I tweeted, “I don’t talk just to hear my own voice! Not worth my time to talk nonsense to those who don’t get it anyway!”
That is how I felt sitting on that couch and how I decide who gets my air time — if it is worthwhile conversation I am the first one to speak up, if it’s not, then in my classic, old school style, I’d rather say nothing at all to people who don’t get it. Health and happiness and the big picture — that is what is important. Not the petty crap of who said, who texted, who tweeted.
Reunion is supposed to be a time of reflection on the season, and especially from the season of growth that we all supposedly went through. It seemed to be about ongoing nonsense. Face up to your mistakes, apologize sincerely, forgive, and move on…next!
One thing is true, my sister Rosie and I are tighter than ever. Even if we might not agree on all topics, we don’t sweat the small stuff — we got each other’s backs, always and forever. In our world, just because one of us gets mad, we don’t lie, fabricate the truth, or try to get even, that is just not in our make-up.
The fact is we are all smart, strong individuals — everyone just handles things differently when stress or anger is at the root of any issue. My take — use the energy for good stuff, because life is too short.”
