Kandi Burruss Shares The Best and Worst Parts Of Having a Newborn

Kandi Burruss is sharing the best and worst things about having a newborn in a brand new interview with Bravo. Kandi also shares what she thinks of Kenya Moore’s new house and shares why she is proud of her co-star.

Bravotv.com: What’s your favorite thing about baby Ace?
Kandi Burruss:
Everything! I love kissing him. I love seeing him learn new things. I love playing with his little toes. I love rocking him to sleep! I could go on and on…

Bravotv.com: What’s been the hardest part about having a new baby?
The hardest thing in the beginning was getting used to no sleep and having to feed him every hour. Thank God we made it past that stage.

Bravotv.com: What were your first impressions of Moore Manor when you arrived for the housewarming?
I thought it was a beautiful home, and I was proud of Kenya for the work she put in to transform that house into what it is now compared to what it was last year when I first saw it.

  1. Baby Ace is adorable. Such a cute little giggly thing – one of those babies that just looks like a puff ball of laughs. He’s probably the best new cast addition to RHoA in all the years it’s been on, lol

  2. What a cutie! This is a great age. He seems like such a happy little boy, and they seem like such a happy family. It looks like Joyce may have mellowed with having a little grandson too.
I am happy for them. It should help Todd fill some of the void left by the loss of his mom, having that sweet boy. That baby could make anyone smile. 🙂

    1. Indeed! It looks like Joyce simply needed something to do and somewhere to put the love she thought she would lose by finally allowing her daughter to settle down into marriage. From the show’s season previews, though…it looks like she might be re-redirecting her rage to Riley’s father…but perhaps rightfully so -since he”s never been present for the child or paid for any of her upbringing and care. Now he suddenly wants to insert himself into her life and the show, and for once, I think it may not be that bad of an idea to sick Joyce and The Old Lady Gang on him like a pack lions. I’m sure he’ll be loving all the newfound local fame in Atlanta and party invitations he’ll be receiving now as a “tv personality” “as seen on….”. That’s the standard m.o. for thirsty scene climbers in the ATL.

        1. But after they finish him off, Joyce HAS to be reeled back in…we haven’t forgotten how she can get when left unchecked for too long. She really is the nightmare mother-in-law that horror movies are made of – Kandi is such a good daughter to her – I say let the Old Lady Gang devour Deadbeat Dad, and then scramble to calm them all down as soon as possible, lol.

          1. Yes, Joyce is that. You are so right. She really likes a good fight. Hopefully she will leave Todd alone. (I still cannot believe Joyce’s, two people with big heads should not get together, remark.)
Kandi is amazing when it comes to her mom. She is so devoted, and I am sure that Joyce cost her more than one relationship, since Joyce wants Kandi all to herself and all the fringe benefits that come with her.
Joyce has a good life, but she loves being the center of attention a bit too much and not in a good way, putting it mildly.
