Kandi Burruss Reveals Why She Wants Todd Tucker To Sign A Prenup!

Kandi Burruss

Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kandi Burruss is madly in love with her fiancé Todd Tucker and  Vibe Vixen reported a recent interview with Upscale Magazine, where Kandi revealed, “The cool thing about Todd and I is that he’s very smart, intelligent. We have so many ideas that we’re planning to make happen together.”

Kandi has built an empire and has a very successful career, so she also shared her beliefs on prenuptial agreements, which we have seen her talk about on RHOA. Kandi insists she and Todd will have a prenup signed and out of the way before their wedding in 2014.

“I don’t see why it’s such a huge topic of conversation. Pre-nups should be standard. Those things should be put in place when everyone is thinking clear-minded. Why would you wait until y’all fall out? People do things to hurt the other when they’re hurt. If I was a man and made that [comment about pre-nups] I don’t think people would’ve even cared, probably.”

Do YOU think Kandi should have Todd sign a prenup?

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

Oh yes, absolutely! And I’m sure he understands where she coming from. You can tell they really love and care for each other, its just business. GO Kandi!!

It’s simply good sense to have a prenup to protect your wealth and prevent a battle over assets in event of divorce. Financially, Kandi has to protect herself and Riley first and foremost, so she shouldn’t have to explain or apologize for having Todd sign a prenup.

People seem to think that Prenups should be for the extremely wealthy. If I had 50 million and gave you half, I still have a nice piece of “coinage”. If I made 50,000 and gave you half, well it not so easy to recover from that split. I believe everyone should have premarital counseling and a prenup.(maybe with a Sunset clause of 20 years)

I am happy that Kandi is happy, but she appears to be extremely gullable. She is sharp when it comes to handling her business matters, but on a personal level, she has blinders on. I do agree w ith her mom, that Todd is an opportunist. I believe he loves Kandi, but he is not in love with her, and there is a difference between the two. She has made bad choices when it comes to men. The one that was killed definitely was not in love with her. Also, what’s up with all the weight she has gained? She surely can afford a personal trainer. Not throwing shade, I like Kandi, but I feel this wedding should not have taken place.
