Kandi Burruss: Why Cynthia Went Overboard

Kandi Burruss is sharing her opinions on the sit-down between her RHOA co-stars Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams. She tells Bravo she believes Cynthia was criticized too much for being a follower in the past and that is why Bailey went overboard during her meeting with Williams.

Bravotv.com: What’s your secret to keeping things spicy in the bedroom?
Kandi Burruss: Bedroom Kandi…LOL!

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised about Todd’s reservations about having a baby?
KB: Well, yes and no. Yes, because we have had lots of conversations about having more children, but I’m not surprised, because we’ve both been working a lot. So the question always comes up about are we ready to slow everything down to have a baby.

Bravotv.com: Was it tough for Riley to have Kaela move in?
KB: It was an adjustment, because Riley is an only child, so she is used to all the attention. But it didn’t take long for them to build a good relationship.

Bravotv.com: Were you shocked by Cynthia and Porsha’s blowout?
KB: Yes. Cynthia is a sweet person, but I think people have called her a follower and have taken her kindness for weakness for so long that she just wants to let everybody know that she’s not weak. Therefore every time she feels the slightest bit of disrespect, she goes overboard trying to put that person in check. Now she comes off as this mean girl. It’s like she can’t win for losing — if she’s too nice, she’s weak, and if she’s too aggressive, she’s a bitch.

    1. Agree, Egg. She was pissed, and showed it. That’s better than the “I forgive you we’re all women together” routine. And Porsha was talking nonsense, as usual. I like this unapologetic Cynthia, in her little costumes.

  1. Cynthia was terrific as haughty school teacher. Portia came off as inarticulate and disrespectful. She reallyneeds to start working to improve herself. Her image sucks.
There is time Portia. Pick up a book and READ. PLEASE.

  2. I think she came off as childish and self righteous. “You say bad things about me, I’m gonna say bad things about you!” She also flat out lied about the whole reunion fight aftermath. She WAS supporting Porsha for a long time….then all of a sudden she’s jumping on the “Kenya was attacked and it was wrong” band wagon. She doesn’t have NeNe as a friend any longer and she needs another strong woman to side with her. Bye Felicia!

  3. I definitely agree!! Cynthia is tired of her kindness being taken as a weakness! ! She should speak up for herself, I’m very glad, I’m sure she feels relieved!! Good for you cynthia!!
