Joyce Giraud Fires Back At Brandi Glanville Over Anorexia Comment

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Joyce Giraud is speaking out about her weight. Joyce was accused of making a comment about being thin on the show, and now she is firing back at her co-stars who were critical of her statement. “In the entirety of my life, I have never had an eating disorder. It’s disrespectful of Brandi Glanville to accuse me of such an ugly disease,” Joyce tells Star magazine. “Anorexia and bulimia are serious problems and for her to just throw that around so easily is hurtful,” Giraud said, adding that her body type should be reason to bond and not fight with Brandi.

“The thing is, Brandi is extremely skinny, for her height, she is skinnier than me! She should know what it’s like to have a fast metabolism. I don’t know why she targets me,” Joyce continues. “I’m a size two, I’m not even a size zero.”

Giraud whose opening RHOBH tagline is, “In Beverly Hills, they say you can never be too young, too thin, or too rich,” tells the magazine she has always been skinny. “After I won Miss Puerto Rico, I was told that I needed to beef up. They made me drink Ensure to gain weight,” she said, adding that she “eats chocolate all day.”

“Even Brandi herself has even made comments on how much I eat! … I do realize how blessed I am to be able to eat what I want and not have to live in the gym,” she added.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
