Joe Giudice Will Be Deported

Joe Giudice has been in deportation proceedings as he remains in federal prison on a 41-month sentence and new reports claim that Joe will in fact be deported back to Italy after he completes his sentence… or maybe even before.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed to the Daily News that it has lodged a detainer and Giudice is in removal proceedings from the United States back to his native Italy.

Joe is scheduled to be released in March 2019, but could see himself booted from the country before his sentence is complete.

Last November, Joe was transferred from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix, N.J., to a prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. The move happened because Giudice requested placement in a residential drug and alcohol abuse program, something Fort Dix denied him because an ICE detainer had been put in place.

Does this mean Teresa will go with Joe? She’s previously addressed the question on the show. “I mean, Italy’s a beautiful place to live. I wouldn’t mind, you know, I’m just saying,” she said. “Listen, whatever God has planned for me, that’s what’s going to happen. I will embrace it the best I can.”

Joe Giudice, who shares four young daughters with his wife, was born in Italy and moved to the United States with his family as a child. Though he is a permanent resident, he never became a citizen.
