We reported recently that RHONY star Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe Giudice was filing a lawsuit against the U.S. Bureau of Prisons, saying that he is being “improperly denied” access to programs that could reduce his sentence by over a year.
A federal judge signed an order allowing Joe’s case to continue saying that denying it was “not warranted.”
A copy of the RHONJ star’s petition will be copied and sent to the Civil Division Chief at the United States Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Bureau of Prisons will be given 45 days to respond to the suit.
The judge is also giving Joe 30 days to reply to the answer once it is received by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons will need to file a written notice with the court within seven days from when he is released according to RadarOnline.
