Joe Giudice DMV Trial Postponed… Again

Joe Giudice’s identity theft case has been postponed again, NJ.com reports. Since Joe and Teresa are both facing 39 counts of federal fraud, are currently under indictment and facing up to 50 years in prison, Judge Greta Gooden-Brown had no choice but to postpone Joe’s DMV trial because he is already involved in a much bigger case. Joe has been accused of trying to obtain a New Jersey driver’s license under his brother’s identity when his license was suspended due to a DUI. The trial has been postponed to mid 2014, after Joe will stand trial with Teresa.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

OMG. THIS IS GETTING SO RIDICULOUS. I’ll be the never goes to trial.

I guess they figure that if they go to jail for the fraud counts the DUI issue is minimal.

At this point why even bother. I’m in no way defending Juicy but really? If the state can’t prosecute anyone within at least a year of the “crime,” then don’t bother at all. I’m sure the Judge is figuring it’s a moot point with the other charges, but the prosecution could use the DMV conviction against him for the federal charges as proof of character. But, instead, these two will walk away and not be charged with anything or they both will die of old age before the trials even start from all of the postponedments……..

Since juiceless isn’t even a citizen, he and the family should just go back to Italy and open a restaurant there

I don’t understand how this hasn’t gone to trial yet, didn’t this happen in early 2010, almost 4 years ago! I agree with anonymous, if its takes this long for such a minor thing (not that I’m saying identity theft isn’t a big deal but compared to other crimes it seems like nothing) they might as well drop the charges they’re just wasting time and resources at this point.

Just makes you wonder about our justice systems.
