According to a recent report, former RHONY star Jill Zarin is getting sick and tired of Bravo stringing her along when it comes to her role on the show. Also, Jill’s reunion with former BFF Bethenny Frankel has been put to a halt.
After the ladies reunited for Bobby Zarin’s funeral, sources say that the network dropped Jill after she allowed Bravo to film the event.
According to Page Six, Jill’s grown tired of making cameo appearances on the show without being offered an actual job.
Jill’s co-stars are rallying for her to get her job back, but sources say Bravo wants to use her without paying her.
“It’s not about the money, it’s about the respect,” said a source close to Jill. “To keep [having] her come on the show without any long-term offer — it feels disrespectful.”
The source added, “Jill doesn’t want to be a full-time member of the cast — she’s still dealing with losing Bobby. But the show means a lot to her, and it would be nice if they asked her to come back.”
In other Zarin news, Bethenny Frankel has finally spoken out about her reunion with Jill.
“I sent Bobby some of his favorite things months ago when I knew he was sick, and then I wasn’t sure how to handle the funeral and the shiva,” Bethenny shares. “I wanted to sort of dip my foot in … I didn’t want to intrude.”
“The first thing she had said to me was, ‘Bobby was so proud of you. Bobby loved you,’” she adds. “And that [Jill said], ‘I kept asking him to fix it, fix it. Call her, you have to fix it.’ And Bobby said, ‘I can’t fix it for you, you have to learn your lesson.’ So, I thought that was really evolved and interesting and surprising.”
