In August, Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jacqueline Laurita, spoke with People Magazine about her youngest son, Nicholas’ autism diagnosis. Jacqueline told the mag, at around 18 months old, Nicholas began regressing with his speech and motor skills, then refusing to answer to his name or notice when people would enter a room. Since revealing the diagnosis to the public, she has been advocating for autism, and doing all the research she can to study the causes and treatments for the disorder.
This week, Jacqueline was pleased to reveal that Nicholas is making progress! She tweeted, “My son had not been saying much of anything 4 a while & then 2day out of nowhere, Letters & Lollipop! Amazing! Always on his terms! lol! Still thrilled.”
In case you missed it, here’s a video Bravo showed at the Reunion, that explains Jacqueline’s journey with Nicholas.
