Jacqueline Laurita is involved in a new fight, and this time it’s not with one of her Real Housewives of New Jersey cast mates. After finally reconciling with her former friend, Teresa Giudice, the state of New Jersey is currently fighting Jacqueline over a massive tax debt, claiming she needs to pay off a $340,000 tax bill or they will be coming after her assets, according to a report by TMZ.
The site reports, ‘The NJ Division of Taxation filed the tax lien against Jacqueline, who has been a regular on the show since season 1, earlier this year for exactly $338,337.05.’
The official documents don’t specify which years the tax debt is from, but if Jacqueline doesn’t pay off the debt soon, the state WILL come after her assets.
Jacqueline and her husband Chris are also in the middle of a bankruptcy with Chris’ company Signature Apparel. The couple is being sued for $7 million because they allegedly “drained the company of all its funds and assets in order to support their families increasingly opulent lifestyle.” Jacqueline and Chris aren’t the only RHONJ Stars dealing with financial issues. Danielle Staub and Teresa Giudice are also in the middle of bankruptcies.
