Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita is selling her Franklin Lakes home that was featured on the show. The 5,7000 square-foot house is being listed for $2.85 million. Jacqueline and her husband Chris, who almost lost the home to foreclosure last year, paid $1.72 million for the manor-style home in 2001. Unfortunately for Jac and Chris, they are asking more than the appraised value of the home. The property is assessed $2.2 million and carries a $34,000/year property tax rate.
“It’s a fantastic house,” real estate agent Gregory Earnshaw tells NorthJersey.com. The Laurita’s home was custom built and features a four-car heated garage, hand-painted murals, a library, a great room with wet bar, a wine cellar and a security system.
The agent adds that he doesn’t know why the Laurita’s are moving, but that they plan to stay in Franklin Lakes.
