Why Isn’t Bethenny Frankel’s Daughter Bryn On RHONY?

If you follow Bethenny Frankel on SnapChat or any other social media, you know that she absolutely adores her daughter Bryn. So why don’t we see Bryn on RHONY? You may think it’s because her ex Jason Hoppy says no, but that’s not the case.

Bethenny addressed this topic in a recent interview.

“A child with a microphone on them, with a mic pack on them, is not really natural. That’s kind of like working. You have to be somewhere and you’ll have a microphone on you and it’s being filmed,” she recently told PEOPLE. “You don’t know the effects of that later. If she were running through a sea and playing, that’s not something that I would be upset about. I mean, people take pictures of us sometimes on the street.”

Frankel went on to say that she wouldn’t want Bryn to have the same experience as the Gosselin children of TLC’s Kate Plus 8, having to have tutors or supervision around. “That doesn’t sound natural to me,” she explained.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

I can understand anyone not having their children film for these shows these days. They are far to vicious!

This may be the most sensible thing any of the real housewives has ever said.

  • I believe Bethenny Frankel to have honor. I have always believed that, and will continue to unless & until she proves to ME, that she does not. I don’t consider her a personal friend, and I am not obsessed with her. I simply like her on the show, and being NY, BH and NJ are the only reality tv I watch at all, I write on this blog about her. She is far more interesting than most others, to me, so therefore I have more to say and I think more about her. She is thought provoking person to me, and as I have had some serious, grievous struggle in my life I therefore understand how it can make a person unique and change them. But, it matters not, what was, was. It happened, it is who we are, and she is who she is. I do not pretend to judge her.

Funny HER personal life is off limits. Seems to be a one way street with her

Always Amy, it’s whatever goes for her is totally opposite to all the others! Glad I have given up on NY.

I agree with the idea of not having your children on one of these shows if it can be avoided. But Frankel does have a tendency to pick and choose which areas of her life can be included on the show while criticizing other cast mates for doing the same. In any case, did anyone catch Hot Topics on the Wendy Williams show this week discussing the person allegedly responsible for the end run of B’s radio show? Skip to minute 16:30

Personally I had high hopes for the show because I used to enjoy Bethenny years ago for her humor, quick wit, and relatability, but gave I up: at a point the broadcast just became too vulgar and mean-spirited to enjoy.
