Has Caroline Manzo Spoken to Teresa Giudice?

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice used to be great friends… until they filmed seasons 4-5 of the show… so has Caroline talked to Teresa since she has been released from prison?

No, Caroline tells US Weekly she hasn’t had contact with Teresa in over a year.

“No, no, no, no, nope,” Manzo said. “You saw the way we left it. And she’s happy with that. I’m happy with that and we’re gonna leave it at that.”

As most of you remember, Caroline and Teresa had a major blowup in Napa during season 4 of RHONJ. At the time of Teresa and Joe’s sentencing, Manzo spoke about it on WWHL.

“I’m blown away. I’m blown away by the whole thing,” Caroline said. “It’s so much bigger than Housewives, it’s so much bigger than Bravo… It’s just life-changing for these two people and their children.”

  1. I think it’s sad Caroline hasn’t reached out. She can say all she wants they weren’t friends, but that’s not what she claimed for the first three seasons of the show.

    1. @Maria–looks like you may have forgotten some episodes. Bottom line is why would Caroline reach out to someone who slammed her? Both weren’t friends. Teresa wouldn’t even see her own sister in law who also reached out to her.

  2. I don’t get why this is a story. Teresa slighted Caroline a few years ago, she told Teresa off, didn’t want anything to do with her end of story. Baffled why she or any other former housewife that has no relationship with Teresa would have to what..congratulate her??

  3. I’m sorry this will differ to others here but if Caroline didn’t reach out I would think she has done Teresa a favour! Can’t stand any of the Manzos and their boring programme!
But anyway merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a fabulous time!

    1. I have to agree. Caroline is one of my least favorite housewives. I’d be fine if her overbearing attitude stayed far far away. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

  4. I’m not a Manzo fan at all, I have no respect for anyone on that show. I have no problem with nobody reaching out to her. Whatever!!

  5. I am a Manzo fan. In my view, their show has what I love about Bravo…real people, with all their flaws, opening their lives up to the viewers. When I watch Manzo’d, I see a family who really love and respect each other and who make me laugh. I love all the cooking, and the crafting, and the animals, and the laughter and the tears. Oh, I see the “scripting” and the directing, but we can’t just follow them around all day with a camera, something has to be going on.
I also “get” Caroline. She sees what I see in Teresa and it would be hypocritical and insincere for her to try and contact Teresa or her family. I am sure she wishes them all well…but wants nothing to do with them.

    1. Why is it such a good ‘family’ when he has had a mistress, Jill, for many years, this is one of the reasons I can’t stand the hypocrisy with this family. That and the daughter is extremely rude and the sons a waste of space.

        1. Now now 3D are you suggesting I read the gossip rags???? Well I do from time to time, at one of the reunions I haven’t a clue which I think it might have been her last season Andy asked her about the rumour and she made some comment about being realistic enough to know that men aren’t faithful for that many years. I was shocked as if I ever found out my husband had been unfaithful he probably wouldn’t be able to again. Then he would be looking for a new wife! So I started doing a bit of research, I was sick at the time so I had plenty of time. I’m not going into all of the ins and outs of what I found but he supposedly lives with her part of the time. Before anyone jumps on me for this, research it yourself before doing so.

            1. You now what I am like, it gets past dusk and I can’t see properly to type, hopeless!!! But they are rage so I wasn’t totally wrong!!

      1. Sally, I try to deal with what I see with my own eyes when watching reality TV. Granted, it is difficult because there is always all kinds of false and deceptive information surrounding the participants and it is often hard to tell what is “real” and what is not. The rumors that Al Manzo has a mistress have never been validated by the press or the Manzos. Caroline’s statement in her book sums it up for me :
“I know the man I married. He’s a good man, but he’s a man. I don’t believe there were any long-term affairs. If that were the case, this story would end differently.”
If that is good enough for her, then I am certainly fine with it. On the show, I can see with my own eyes how much Albert loves his family. I can also see how much they all love each other. The boys, Albie and Chris, do not work 9-5 jobs, but both are millionaires and in their 20’s. I don’t know what I would have been doing in my 20’s if I never had to work, but I can imagine I would probably be trying to find something I am passionate about and might want to do for the rest of my life. Lauren is snappish and rude sometimes. So is her mother. I am OK with that. It is a NY/NJ thing to me. I grew up there, and “bustin’ balls” is an art in that area. Bethenny is particularly good at it, for example. There has also never been any proof that Al and his brother Tommy have been mixed up in organized crime or the “mafia”. Their father may have been. It certainly looks like it, from the way he died, but I don’t know for sure and the sins of their father is not something I am willing to judge Albert and Tommy for. They have worked very hard to build a very successful catering business and I respect them for it.
You don’t like the Manzos. I get it… but what I can’t understand is why their flaws bother you so much…yet… you are a huge fan of Teresa Giudici, who’s whole life has been a lie on the show.

        1. Apple Hi, I think we are all the same, I am only saying what I have read. As far as Caroline’s book there is no way she would say in her book if it was true. I’m not just saying this from gossip sites, I tend to believe some and some not, in particular Radar, I never believe anything they print. I do not like the Manzos as you have noticed, I don’t like Lauren and never have, I don’t like the way Caroline talked to her re the sausage comment. I would never say anything like that to my daughter even in private! The sons in my opinion are a waste of space, they never seem to settle at anything. As far as the NJ /NY thing We are pretty blunt bunch here in Scotland as well. These are only my opinions!!
The great thing about blogs and in particular this one we all like different people and as long as, like you, we stay respectful of other posters that’s really good. As far as being a huge fan of Teresa, I like her a lot but I wouldn’t say I was a huge fan of any housewife. I don’t like what Teresa and Jo have done, I do put more blame on Jo, but she isn’t innocent! I just believe she deserves a second chance and a chance to put things right. I would say the same about any other housewife, well except Vicki but that’s a separate story!

          1. I agree completely that as long as we are respectful, we can always disagree and continue to enjoy each other’s posts. I will also say that I find many of the Teresa fans to be especially disagreeable and intolerant, but you have always been respectful, Sally.
We see this issue and many other issues differently. I think if Albert Manzo had a mistress and had set her up in the apartment, or a house somewhere in Patterson, the press would have ferreted it out and it would be all over the entertainment news. It would be almost impossible to keep that kind of thing a secret from the many people who work at The Brownstone, who may be very happy to exploit their boss for a profit. In my opinion, most people who vehemently hate and attack the Manzos on the blogs are Teresa fans who see the Manzos as her enemy…the same with Melissa Gorga, and Jacqueline Laurita…and there is very little truth in the allegations they spread.

            1. Apple, I think we are always going to disagree on the Manzo’s but that’s ok. I love Aunt Bee and she likes Caroline but I don’t hold it against her!! As for the rest of the cast I’m not getting into that at the moment. I don’t think there is any one here on this site who likes Teresa who has been disrespectful. Although I know it happens on other sites on both sides. This is why I really enjoy posting here.

              1. Not much by the regulars…but there have been some drive-bys. I think what saves us from the worst of it is we usually don’t engage and they get bored and move on. But the “hate” for the Manzos, the Lauritas, and the Gorgas is pretty thick and very little of it is based on anything substantial…mostly just malicious and spiteful gossip.

                1. Its nearly all just gossip about the HW or Ex so we can only go by who we like. This site is good and on the odd occasion there are problems Nicki resolves them fast. That’s why I love this site and most of the people here. The trolls every site has them it’s a shame. 😀 😀

  6. I do not like when anyone who spouts all this honor stuff then turns on someone and says things told to them in friendship. She said she “loved” Theresa. She should have then been a big enough person to call out someone she “loved” on all the stuff she later said she had been dealing with all those years. She kept spouting how she would do anything for family, then saying things Theresa had supposedly told her in confidence making it way worse than it already was. Whether I am a fan or a detractor of the one getting ganged up on I find it very offensive for all the cast to finish each others sentences while acting like a pack of starving wolves. What she did during those reunions turned ME against HER.

  7. I appreciate Caroline’s decency and the fact that she has never engaged in criminal behavior like Teresa. Caroline has behaved with dignity and when she and Teresa had their disagreements, she didn’t “Smack My (that) Bitc*”-Up (a song by the rock band Prodigy).

      1. I do not think the manzo’s are squeaky clean, my guess is they are now but haven’t always been, can’t put my finger on it, but I don’t believe for one second they haven’t done anything questionable. Those adult children of hers useless absolutely useless.

  8. Really? In the season 3 and 4 reunion I thought her, Jaquiline and Melissa all acted horrible. They all yelled at her for the entire time! She personally brought up things she accused Theresa of saying on one hand and on the other how she would never involve herself in the ruination of a family. I don’t ever appreciate that kind of hypocrisy. She said horrible things about her and Joe, after sticking up for them as long as they were loved by the public, and implied more and basically acted way worse than she accused Theresa of acting, IMO. Then at reunion 4 she kept it up in the spirit of bashing Tre and her family. I didn’t think she acted with any dignity at all.

  9. I used to like Caroline but in later seasons she turned vicious, vile, overbearing and arrogant. Can’t stand her or her mini-me daughter.

  10. When I watch old seasons I have to laugh at how they both professed such a fondness for each other and when things went bad, they both acted like they couldn’t stand each other…EVER. Lol. Such a contradiction, so why would Caroline reach out to her, and more importantly, why would Teresa even want to hear from her?
