Former Villa Blanca Employee Awarded $100,000 In Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

A jury awarded former Villa Blanca employee Karina Bustillos $100,000 in punitive damages stemming from a sexual harassment lawsuit she filed against Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant. RadarOnline reports Bustillos claimed manager Michael Govia sexually harassed her with inappropriate comments and sexual advances, including grabbing her wrists and trying to kiss her. She claimed Villa Blanca failed to take action when she informed her superiors about the incidents.

The jury did not place liability on Govia, in court last week, but found that Villa Blanca, Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd could be held accountable.

Lisa has yet to comment on the new ruling.

  1. Part of the fame game….get ready to dish out lot more dough cause employees will find the deep pockets and will almost always get employment claims awarded on their side.

  2. I dont get it if a jury didnt find the manager at fault, then isnt the whole case dismissed? If the manager didnt actually do anything then wasnt villa blanca right for sticking by their manager cuz they knew the accusations were false?
