Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans got to finally meet the newest addition to the show Erika Girardi- or to others Erika Jayne. She is a wife, mother, performer and business woman who lives two separate lives when it comes down to it. In her Bravo Blog she makes her introduction to fans about her excitement for being a part of RHOBH, and shares support for her gal pal Yolanda Foster.

“The time has come for me to finally introduce myself! By now you may have discovered that I basically live two lives, one as Erika Girardi, wife, mother, and friend by day, and the other is Erika Jayne, a passionate creator, business woman, show girl, and irreverent soul by night. One is sweet, the other is… spicy.

I met the ladies of Beverly Hills through my friend Yolanda Foster, whom I have known for nine years. There’s truly not a classier, more intelligent, tough-as-nails woman on Earth. Only someone as special as Yolanda could get me to voluntarily have an IV, which I hate and started crying over in this new episode.

It’s painful to watch Yolanda struggle through this very tough time. Lyme disease and its co-infections are very serious and having supportive family and friends around you is everything to keep your spirits up.

Also on this season you’ll get to step inside my lifestyle of “The Pretty Mess,” a philosophy about fantasy, escape, love, glitz, glamour, and fun. I am more than excited to share with you the different aspects of my life.

I feel in life it’s most important to squeeze every ounce of sparkle out of each day. I look forward to my journey with these dynamic women and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Welcome to the world of “The Pretty Mess.”

  1. She was so obnoxious on her debut to the show that I couldn’t believe it. A 44-year-old married to a sugar daddy who could be her grandfather was tacky enough. I wouldn’t doubt she was a table dancer or hooker when she met him and she acts like she still is one.

Going onstage in that costume that showed her middle-aged flab and bragging on and on about how hot she was, not to mention the weird teen-age valley girl baby voice she switched to, was just stupid. It was painful to see how the young guys in the act had to go along with her self-centered delusions. I’m sure they’d rather slap her. I certainly would, anyway.

The other women are probably afraid to cross her just because she tries to intimidate people with the money she gets from sitting on Grandpa’s lap.

I expect more class, less trash from Beverly Hills!

    1. Agree and sooooo far no drinking/drug problems no siblings to giver her relevance- I will stay tuned- but as far as an older husband who knows who cares-that’s her business- I think she Loves him and he loves her- what more is needed. She also seems to Respect , where she came from and where she is- She works – Like her sooo far JMO

  2. I’m looking forward to Erika, she seems to be witty, which is what I look for in a hw. Wait and see she’s only been on for 5 seconds.

  3. I like her so far!! We have had many discuions here about marriages of older/younger and it really doesn’t bother me . It’s actually nice to see that older women/younger men marriages are on the rise 😉
I’m eager to see what Eriks brings before I make up my mind about her

      1. Are you all ready for Christmas Sally? 🙂 I need to do some serious baking this weekend! My family loves it because I only bake on holidays and birthdays now 🙂

        1. I just wish I was!!! Mince pies this weekend! I don’t think you have them there do you? Not meat, dried fruit? Daughter from 23-28 Son and partner from 28 for a week so a very staggered Christmas this year. It’s lovely but I hope they go out a lot!! Is that mean? Yes it is a bit!! You just get used to the two of you and doing just what you want! Waiting for deliveries of last presents, fingers crossed or they will get a piece of paper with a promise! I feel mean now but can’t be bothered to delete!! It WILL be lovely to see them! Haven’t wrapped up all the presents either. Just going to do a bit of that now! What are you baking? Something nice??
Are you ready apart from baking?

          1. It’s not mean , these are real feelings. My boys are in college so it will be fun to have them back but yes I’ll be ready for them to go when it’s time LOL. I’m not a ‘Velcro mom’ so I don’t need my kids to be attached to my bosom every single day 🙂 They may or may not bring their girlfriends , I’m hoping they don’t 🙂 my daughter and fiancé (yawn!) live close but they’ll come over. I made it clear to all my kids that Christmas is always at my house and there will be no ‘new traditions’ of going anywhere else, as long as I’m alive! Now that’s mean I buy all presents online so it’s very easy!
I know mince pies! Did I tell you I lived in London for few years when I was a teen ?

            1. I know you live in SF? But where in London? I have the worst memory in the world I’m afraid, brain addled by pain killers and that’s my excuse and I’m smacking to it!!! We are without my Son for the second year as they are with her parents but her grandmother is dying so I will excuse it this year!!! I’m not a Velcro mum, I love them and love seeing them but love it when the house is ours again! We are thinking of moving overseas do you think I should tell them???

              1. Moving overseas where ? What an adventure 🙂 and yes you should definately tell them lol . I may have not told you I lived in London, so maybe it’s my memory

                1. I don’t know yet, somewhere warmer out of choice, Italy but because of Golf Courses probably Spain. Ok I will tell them then!!! Where were you in London? I grew up in Richmond upon Thames which is just outside London. We have moved quite a bit during our married lives so it doesn’t seem quite so exciting!

      1. Jesus..your right again Sally. I have 3 sons two are grown and married, my youngest is a sr. In high school, he will be leaving for college in the fall. What all my boys understand is Christmas is MINE and that’s final. One of my boys had me come over and decorate the outside and inside of his house because I’ve been obsessed with x-mas decorating my whole life, I felt honored that him and his wife wanted me to do it.. I’m sorry I’m rambling..be gone with me! :-0
