Eileen Davidson Starring In New Movie

RHOBH star Eileen Davidson is best known for her work in soap operas, but that’s not all she’s done as an actress. She’s also starred in primetime series like Broken Badges and has wowed audiences on the big screen in movies like Eternity, opposite Jon Voight and Armand Assante. And Eileen is making a return to the big screen!

“I’ve actually bounced back-and-forth. I haven’t been on Y&R for 35 years straight. People think that, but I haven’t,” Eileen recently told The Daily Dish. “And when I was on Y&R the first time, I did a couple movies during that time. I did a TV series, a nighttime series. I’ve done a lot of different shows. I did a small part in a movie I shot in Alabama a couple of years ago. I’ve done student films. I kept myself busy doing other things, too.”

Eileen has also written a series of Soap Opera Mystery novels called Dial Emmy for Murder, and she’s about to turn them into a film. “I wrote these books 10 years ago, one every year for a few years, and one of them has been optioned,” Eileen shared. “And I’m in the middle of writing a second draft for it, and hopefully we’re gonna be filming it this summer. So I’ll be starring in that, co-writing it, exec producing, and that should be fun.”

“They’re written around the soap opera industry, and the protagonist is basically my character. She loves mysteries, and so she gets involved in trying to solve these murders,” Eileen said. “So you find her always in trouble when she’s always trying to figure things out, and all these people keep dying in these very dramatic ways, so it’s gonna be fun.”

Congrats Eileen!
