Danielle Staub Reveals Melissa Gorga Tried To Film With Her To Get Teresa Back, WWHL Recap

Danielle Staub appeared on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night with Andy Cohen after a new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Danielle was happy to share that she is in a good place and that she is currently filming and producing a reality show that she will appear in. Fans had a lot of questions for Danielle, and the first one she was asked how she feels about the charges against Joe and Teresa Giudice. “I feel bad for them,” Danielle says. “They’re people. Things that are very bad are happening to them, so it would be really wrong of anyone to enjoy that.”

Next, Andy wanted Danielle’s reaction to what some of her former co-stars had to say about her. The first clip he showed was Caroline Manzo saying she regretted her meeting with Danielle in season 2. Caroline says she regretted it because she was mean to Danielle and she doesn’t like being that person. “I’m not buying it,” Danielle responds. “But thank you.”

Next, Andy shows a clip of Teresa Giudice explaining she felt more of an alliance with Danielle after the cast turned on her in season 4. Teresa says Danielle knew a lot of things about Caroline and Jacqueline and at the reunion show she kept her mouth shut. “Aw,” Danielle responded. “I love Teresa. I have absolutely no problems with Teresa. I really feel like she was stuck in between a friendship and a kinship with a family that she’s known for the better part of her life and in trying to create a new relationship with me I think she was manipulated a lot by them. I do truly believe she feels remorse. I believe her.”

Next, Andy shows Danielle a clip of Jacqueline being asked if she would ever have a friendship with Danielle again. Jacqueline says she still stalks me and says horrible, horrible things. “I think she needs to put the wine away,” Danielle says. “And possibly seek help for that. I have not been around her. I haven’t tweeted, I haven’t talked. I think she might be the worst example of somebody creating a truth.”

Next, Andy plays a clip of Melissa Gorga and a viewer asking Melissa what was the purpose of her reaching out to Danielle behind Teresa’s back. Melissa claims she wrote the cookie story on Facebook and Danielle privately messaged her and it went from there, but they never met face to face. “The one truth in there is that we didn’t ever meet,” Danielle reveals. “However, it’s because I wouldn’t allow that to happen. She wanted to film during season 2 and she thought it would be a good way to get back at Teresa. I said I wanted absolutely nothing to do with that. I would forward all her emails (which were a lot) to the producers. So that’s how she went from being behind the scenes to a person of interest and that’s how she landed on the show. I think it would be good for her to come clean. I wanted nothing to do with what she wanted to do to Teresa, it’s not my place.”

Danielle also asks Andy on camera why he said she was fired when she chose to leave the show. “Well, I don’t recall saying that you were fired because I think it was a mutual decision that you didn’t want to continue on the show and we didn’t think that it was…”

“You did put that out there,” Danielle tells Andy. “It was announced to the press and it’s still out there.”

“And it’s a quote from me saying you were fired?” Andy asks.

“Yea,” Danielle says.

“Well, I apologize,” Andy says.

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.
