Taylor Armstrong is taking to her Bravo Blog to explain why she was so cold towards Yolanda Foster when they first met, she admits she was too quick to judge Yolanda. Taylor is also discussing the return of her friend Dana Wilkey to the show. Dana had a memorable scene where she was dealing with heart-break and appeared to be coping with alcohol. Read what Taylor wrote below.
Taylor writes, “Paris, the city of light, looked fabulous as my friends spent their final night on the Seine. It would have been fun to be there but, I had work to do at home and I needed some quiet time with my daughter, Kennedy.
I feel for Kyle when she says, ” I look forward to the day when I won’t have to worry” (about Kim). I hope that day comes for Kyle and her family.
Ken is so romantic; they are both still so in love after 30 years. This is a relationship that is truly aspirational. If I make it 30 years, I will be doing my vows from a walker.
Jim Jordon has done several shoots for me and he is a gifted artist. He gets the best from his subjects and is a blast to work with on a shoot. Yolanda was stunning, and she and David looked so glamorous during the photo shoot. I saw my friend, Mark Kurian, in the background. He is one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever met and if he is involved, I know David and Yolanda are well taken care of.
Mauricio is one of the most well-respected and talented real estate pros in the US. If you want to sell or buy a home in the 90210, don’t look any further. The vast majority of agents can’t hold a candle, enough said.
Dana, Dana, Dana. I got a call from her and she was distressed to say the least. When I showed up to meet her, she was in a bad place. She kept telling me how happy she was and how she was enjoying her new “free” lifestyle but, I could see clearly there was so much pain hiding behind her words; her actions were speaking louder.
I wanted to share many stories and many experiences where I was masking pain. I knew she needed to hear them but in that moment, it just wasn’t right. Unlike Kim, I don’t give advice on things I am not an expert in and I have made enough mistakes to know. . .I’m no expert.
As for Dana telling me that my friends are not my friends, I disagree. She had a rough experience with my gal pals and harbors resentment. I know who my friends are and I know who they are not.
I freely admit, I got off to a rough start with Yolanda (and David). I was carrying a sword for a friend until I realized it wasn’t my battle to fight. I came to Kyle’s opening to celebrate her success but at the same time, I was intent on clearing the air with Yolanda. My hope was that we could “start over” with no judgement and no preconceived notions about one another.
Lisa and I shook hands on a “fresh start” at the tea party last year, we put the past behind us and agreed to get to know one another. Lisa’s friendship is one I now cherish. I hope the hug from Yolanda at Kyle’s store opening signals a new beginning for our friendship.
I was surprised to see Adrienne and Paul show up at the opening; there was so much tension in our group and they were at the core. The distress in their marriage was really starting to show.
I was troubled watching Kyle leave her store opening and 300 people to go sit with Kim and talk about her sobriety. This feels like a rerun to me. Kyle started out being honest about Kim’s behavior in Paris. Kim appeared not lucid and completely out of it. Then, they agreed it was a medication mix-up. Why is any doctor giving an addict mood altering drugs and why does she have them in her home to be confused with the other medications she is taking? The whole thing doesn’t make sense to me.
“Kyle” the store (and the woman) are gorgeous and the event was a hit. I was wearing a Haute Hippie dress I picked up from the store earlier that day. There were so many amazing options, it was hard to choose. Congrats to my dear friend, Kyle, on her new adventure. I love you and wish you all the success in the world.”
