Carole Radziwill Slams Body Shamers

Being on a reality TV show, criticism comes with the package whether its the inside or the outside of a person, and Real Housewives of New York City star Carole Radziwill is not having it. Although even in her previous tagline she mentions her great ass-she did an interview with Elle Magazine and talked about how she gets her figure and shut down the haters!

“Honestly, I was never into going to gyms. I just don’t like the culture. I never knew how to switch my clothes. Lugging around gym clothes and sneakers and stuff, I just could never. My body doesn’t change too much. I’m the same exact weight as I was in eleventh grade of high school,” she said. “Even if I eat a lot, I don’t gain weight. And if I don’t eat, I don’t lose weight. It’s just flat.”

Most women would think well isn’t she lucky-but the reality star is fighting back at those who comment on her weight.

“I hate all that skinny shaming that goes on: ‘You’re too skinny, eat a burger!’” she said. “You would never say that to someone who is 10 pounds overweight ever. I’m not starving myself. I’m just naturally thin. This is who I am. This is what I eat. Ten cheeseburgers or a salad, I stay the same weight.”

And since she is dating a chef we would think that food plays a major role in her life but she says, “I don’t have a relationship with food. I pretty much eat whatever is in front of me,” she explained. “I don’t have a relationship with alcohol either. I know some people that I work with that are like, ‘Let’s get a cocktail or rosé.’ I’ll just have a dirty martini.” Amen to that!

  1. No, when you are nicely thin and someone comments on it, that’s not “body shaming,” it’s a compliment, even if said in a jokey way. It is nowhere NEAR the same thing as when someone comments about how fat someone is. Acting as if it’s an equal complaint is disingenuous.

    1. I agree, I would love to be naturally thin and would not mind people commenting on it! For years I have struggled with my weight and I cannot eat more than 1000 calories a day without putting on weight due to pain killers!

  2. I was naturally thin….. even after the babies came… then in my fifties the weight came. Carole never had children so i doubt she will have the weight gain – her insides have never been stretched to their limit!!!!

  3. Oh geez. I’m thin and when people tell me to eat a burger, I tell them I do and laugh. It’s metabolism and genetics. I hardly call it body slamming. Why is everyone on edge about everything that’s said? You can’t say people are pretty, it’s discrimination against others. You can’t say they are thin, you can’t say they are heavy, you can’t anything. And P.S., in my mind, Carole needs some muscle mass, she is skin and bones. Not attractive.

  4. Good for Carol for speaking out. Some people just don’t gain weight and some people can’t lose weight no matter how hard they try and it is nobody’s business. My mother was naturally thin and could eat anything she wanted, I on the other hand look at a piece of cake and I gain 2 pounds.

    1. I know what you mean. My sister (all Italian) eats as much as she wants of everything and has always been thin. There are naturally thin people and those of us who have to watch or we gain weight. For the commenter below who mentioned that Carole is Italian. Carol is also Austrian at least, one grandparent was anyway, not that it matters.

  5. she’s italian, she’s not naturally thin. she starves herself. there is nothing attractive about her face or her figure.

    1. I’ve lived and worked in Italy, and being Italian has nothing to do with whether you’re naturally thin or not. It amazes me how people will make up and type anything online these days simply for the sake of insult…

  6. whatever, carole needs to work on that awful cellulite on her backside (can’t unsee that) from their Turks vacay—-she may be skinny but anyone can have massive amounts of cellulite even skinny gals….

    1. I think she’s usually pretty nice and they might make them have those stupid tag lines. But I agree, it’s obnoxious to go about announcing that one has a great ass (even if it was true).

    1. The network has final say on the taglines, the cast is required to keep submitting them until they’re not rejected. A lot of Housewives across the board have admitted that something they submitted as a reference joke ended up being chosen and later they were mortified, but had to bite the bullet and stick with it. Seems like every franchise has at least one clunker of a tag line each season…
