Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer has been diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer, RumorFix reports. Camille’s rep, Howard Bragman, tells the site that Camille underwent a “radical hysterectomy” and “the surgery went well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period.”
Camille, who is 45 years-old, is at a high risk for cancer because of her genetics. Camille’s mother, Maureen Donatacci, is also battling cancer, and in an interview, Camille told us, “My mom is a very strong person. With prayer, family, and strength she continues to fight her battle. Every four months she has surgery, and they give her chemotherapy through a catheter. She is so strong, and I truly believe in mind over matter. She is such an inspiration.”
Camille’s rep explains the importance of early detection. “Camille has been diligent about regular checkups and monitoring, which explains the early detection and rapid treatment,” her rep says.
