The ladies of Orange County are currently filming season thirteen, and we have learned that Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd will be joined by some new faces this season.
Kathleen French, Senior Vice President for Current Production at Bravo, confirms that Peggy Sulahian, Lydia McLaughlin and Meghan King-Edmonds are out.
“There will be new faces on Orange County and I’m going to leave it at that,” French revealed on The Daily Dish podcast.
“We always want to keep the shows fresh and we always want to introduce new friends,” French added. However, if you’re looking to become a Housewife, you may be out of luck if you’re not already besties with any of the current ladies. French explained they find their new ‘Wives by checking out the returning Housewives’ already-established circle of friends: “[We] always look for people who are organic to the group.”
She continued, “So the question when starting the next season is, ‘What are you doing now?’ ‘Who are you hanging with?’ ‘Anyone new in your life?’ … And that’s really where we’ll always look first.”
“You have to be ready, willing, and able to live your life in front of the camera,” she said of what is expected of a new Housewife.
