Brandi Glanville Wants To Explore Comedy, Friend Defends Her Over Molestation Joke

Brandi Glanville shocked people when she joked on her podcast show, Brandi Unfiltered, that she wishes she had been molested as a child. Glanville was interviewing comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, and she said, “I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common! I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up.” Adding, “My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me: He didn’t even look at me sideways.”

RumorFix spoke to Brandi’s friend who tells the site, “She can’t say or do anything right [in the eyes of others]. Her intent was to be funny and not offensive. She studied the comedians stand up routines and tried to pull bits from there.” Adding, “This is all new to Brandi and obviously there’s a learning curve. She’s just going to learn her lessons as she goes and just keep being herself.”

Brandi’s pal continues, “It’s hard though, she told me she really thinks social media is ruining our lives as she wrote in her book. She’s such a fan of comedians and thinks life without laughter would suck. She’s actually trying to get into some comedian sketches!”

My name is Nicki. I am 32 years-old and married to my best friend. I was previously in business for over 12 years, but I’ve always had a great passion for web and graphic design. Another one of my passions, of course, is to escape into the world of TV, which is where this journey began. My goal in starting AllThingsRH.com was to give fans, like myself, a place to catch up on all the latest news and gossip about The Real Housewives. I wanted to create a place where viewers could interact with each other, share their opinions, and get straight-forward and unbiased information about what’s going on. I am proud of the diversity this site has to offer.

Brandi is too stupid to realize she crossed the line. What she said is undefendable and definitely NOT funny especially to the thousands who have been molested.

didn;t you read. the comedians USE THOSE JOKES IN THEIR ACTS!! she was just trying to be funny as well, as someone who was molested i don’t take offense to it. get off your high horse.

Pretty disappointed to see that this site still has an ad up for Brandi’s podcast.

Aunt Bee I agree totally. Brandi knows right now a lot of fans/viewers are not on her side and yet she goes and says something so hurtful and just unacceptable. That’s fine that she wants to dabble in comedy, but, she hasn’t earned het stripes yet as a respected “comedian”, that comes way later when she’s made a name fir herself in that field, as of now, the molestation remark is going to be viewed…… Unacceptable? I don’t know…..some topics are just taboo.. that’s my take on this.

For now, I am glad her & Joyce are trying to mend fences, not sure if it’ll work, but, at least we get a rest from reading about it.

no one should ever have to apologize for comedy. just because you find something offensive, doesn’t mean it needs to be stifled

Brandi doesn’t have the intellect to try her hand at comedy. Sorry. Not one of her gifts. To put it mildly.

  • Aunt Bee

There is absolutely nothing funny about Brandi and those who find her comments about this subject to be funny need help themselves. I feel sorry for you Alex.

there are all sorts of comedians (professional or people you work with or people you know) …not all are funny and some are just offensive…just because someone puts “comedian” before their name or say “I was only joking”…does not excuse that fact that what they “spoke” was already in their heart….Brandi needs to think before she speaks….I do not think she is learning that lesson because she is always defending after the fact and only saying she is sorry when what she said comes back to her in the form of “losing income”….

  • Aunt Bee

Rokstar you are so right and said it so beautifully.
