Brandi Glanville has never been shy about sharing details of her divorce from Eddie Cibrian and her bitter feud with him and his new wife LeAnn Rimes, but are they actually getting along now?
“I think we’re realizing that it’s all about the kids. It’s not about us,” she told the Daily Dish, referring to her two sons with Eddie, Jake and Mason. “And there’s no point at this point to bicker about silly things because they’re together, happily married. I’m happy and single, but with the kids, so we don’t have to have a rift between the three of us. There’s no point. We have to come together for the kids and we’re really working on that. And I’m happy about it.”
Glanville also noted she wants to keep her relationship with Eddie’s parents. “At the end of the day, his parents are still my in-laws. I love them madly. They will always be my in-laws. My parents were just here and wanted to see them and it was kind of awkward because I’m like, ‘I don’t know how I want to approach that because they used to be best friends.’ But the kids are really happy because they realize that my parents are good friends with [Eddie’s parents]. It’s all about the kids and we’re all figuring it out as we go. But I think we’re coming to a better place.”
As we previously reported, Glanville recently confirmed she’s been dating a new man, MTV’s Theo Von. “That is part of what I’m working on with my therapist. I don’t have a balance at the moment. When I have the boys, I’m 100 percent super mom,” she said. “[The kids are] getting older [and] I’m realizing I’m getting older too and I have to figure out what that balance is. Can I bring potential boyfriends around? Is it OK? Why am I so uncomfortable with it? I don’t want to hurt the kids, but they keep on asking me why there’s no boyfriend and it’s odd. So I’m working on that in therapy. But I haven’t figured out what exactly the balance is going to be yet, but I know there needs to be one. Because right now I have two separate personalities.”
