Looks like the B is back and ready for yet another season of the Real Housewives of New York City according to Radar Online. Bravo has already offered a contract to Bethenny Frankel to sign on for another season of the show and she has accepted the offer. The site is also claiming that newcomer Dorinda Medley will not be asked for another season along with Kristen Taekman.
A source revealed, “Bethenny has already been asked to come back, and she has accepted. It was in her contract that if Bravo made the offer, that she would accept.” They continued, “The fact is, Bethenny loves being on television. Producers are hoping next season Bethenny will let her guard down even more and fight with the other ladies.”
So what is the offer Bethenny is getting? The Skinnygirl mogul supposedly made $1 million for filming this current season but the source said, “Bethenny will probably want close to $2 million, while Bravo would offer no more than $1.5 million. RHONY just isn’t as popular as the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Bethenny just doesn’t have the clout she once did.”
As for Dorinda Medley, the source is claiming that is not the cast. “Viewers just didn’t respond to her at all. Droned didn’t bring anything to the show. She was just boring!” They are also claiming that Kristen Takeman will get cut as well for the same reasons.
Shooting for the show’s next season is scheduled for fall, and the producers are supposedly looking for “two new sexy ladies that will add to the dynamic of the current group. The need to shake things up.” The source concluded.
What do you guys think? Should Dorinda and Kristen get to leave and Bethenny stay? Sound off in the comment section below!
