We know that Ramona Singer will definitely be returning to The Real Housewives of New York, and there are rumors the women have already started filming. But some of the women from Season 5 are still negotiating their contacts! RealityTea’s source reported that a week before the presentation at the Bravo Upfronts, none of the RHONY ladies had been told of the event because contracts were completely up in the air at that point!
After rumors Ramona Singer demanded a higher salary from Bravo, she said in a recent statement, “While I will not comment on my contract negotiations with Bravo, I will say that I am definitely onboard for Season 6 . . . and could not be more pleased to be part of the cast.”
Now for the juicy gossip… Aviva Drescher is the only woman from last Season who is not in the active negotiation process and according to reports will not return to the show!
Sonja Morgan and LuAnn de Lesseps have “contracts on the table.” Unfortunately Aviva is still “pending,” despite jumping through hoops to make sure she can rejoin the show. Aviva’s co-op apartment, which was featured on last season, would not allow filming anymore and she was forced to move if she wanted to film at home. Aviva and her husband Reid rented a Park Avenue house to accommodate Bravo’s cameras.
“She’s literally packing up boxes to move into this house she’s rented, which she doesn’t even like, so she can be on the show more, and they’re not bringing her back,” Aviva’s friend dishes.
Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson are definitely returning to Season 6.
